The Gabba Grand Final

Cross that bridge when we get to it imo.

Still better to finish 4th and have a double chance.
Yes, things can change; one game at a time ... and all that. Agreed.

If we can get top-liners back in the team and in form like Edwards, Prestia and Astbury (especially, because he is so needed to bolster our backline), we can still do it I think.

It's nice knowing that every other team in the finals will be hoping to avoid us until the big one.

If we beat Geelong I reckon we finish 3rd. Eagles will drop at least one of saints doggies
I'm with you. Not that impressed with WCE last night and think either of these sides could trouble them, but only if they can curtail the WC aerial power. Loss of Shuey helps quite a bit too. But still long shots.

Yes, if we can take care of Moggies ... bewtiful!
I also think the Bummers have the capacity to trouble the Moggs. Very doubtful, I know, but only because the gap between the Bummers' best and worse is really wide. If they ever got their act together, like they did in Pies and Dawks wins!

Happy for Queensland Tigers but as a Victorian this news is just *smile*.
No live footy all year now the GF goes to Queensland too.
*smile* this *smile* virus.

I think Gil told a porky pie at the presser. He said club members take priority then the public. Where do the all important corporates fit in? Did he forget about them or just conveniently not mention them in the hope nobody in the media would ask? ( I don’t think anyone brought it up)

I think we will beat Geelong and send them to Adelaide to play Port and we get the Lions at the G (Gabba) again.

Uncle Fages will big his players up, "we should have won the last 3 times, don't worry that we essentially got flogged in those 3 games, do the same thing and kick straight this time, I love those attempts you guys take from 50m out on the boundary, really shows your confidence that you attempt to kick them, group hug everyone"

Yeh, as much as its been great having the footy on most nights jeez you miss being there. There's nothing like the sheer joy you get from that communal roar. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

I got my provisional MCC membership at end last year (wait list since 2001) and haven't been able to use it once. I'm just hoping we will be able to go in some capacity in 2021.

Gee, that WA premier is gonna become a pariah in his own state!
Trying to be a smart arse has not worked out so well...
Virtually impossible they'd get a prelim and even the first final not exactly set in stone!

And referring to ‘they’ won’t help WC cause either with the AFL.

I think it's a good decision to have the granny in Queensland. The season wouldn't have got off the ground without the Queensland's governments help. I know living in Melbourne and being locked inside for twenty three hours a day how good it is to have the footy on. It would have been poor to give it to WA just because they had the highest bid.

Typical why not use this crisis to finally get their Night GF.

They'll be saying oh what a success how amazing!....... Lets shift it permanantly!!

They have beta tested nearly every change they want to implement except 2 less players per side.

Changing the game before our eyes without any push back all at the behest of the Corporate overlords under the cover of Covid.

Dont get me wrong IM absolutely stoked that its in Brisbane as we will be our best hope or opportunity to snatch it if we can make it.

Wauiting for the West Coast and Kochies Melts, but serves em right for not assisting the AFL at any stage, only when it suited them to help the Eagles did they finally decide to become more accommodating.

Ha ha ha stuff em.

Perfect for tigers

Finals in Qld and no prelim in Perth - perfect.

The ball is squarely in our court - now it just up to us how we play our cards in hopefully a six round game - with the first round tonight
