well, its official.

with 30,000 fans, and with Adelaide Oval as the back up in the event of a Covid outbreak in Qld?

If Port win a Q final, hope they have a strategy in place to stop some toothless Port Feral road tripping to Brisbane via every meatworks in the greater Melbourne area?

how many GF guarantees would the likely participants have written?

what becomes of the guarantees on the wrong side of borders?

Perth didn't get it because of Telstra being a major sponsor of the AFL.
That also means both preliminary finals will be in Brisbane

Gee, that WA premier is gonna become a pariah in his own state!
Trying to be a smart arse has not worked out so well...
Virtually impossible they'd get a prelim and even the first final not exactly set in stone!

The whining coming from the far West is a thing of beauty. If they want to vent, they can direct their vitriol towards their holier than holy Premier who has done SFA to assist this season. So jam that in your clacker :banana:banana

Just get over Geelong first then take 1 game at a time. Fair way to go to reach the last Game in October yet!

Need to read up on Quarantine requirements between here and Qld.

Was waiting online to watch the BIG announcement.... for 15 minutes prior to the chief coming up to the lectern they had the mike live and you could hear whoever was there whispering amongst themselves.... gee lotta people don't like a lotta other people.;)

Pretty poor for a professional organization I reckon!
Just listened back with headphones on....
Heard Eddie say to junior.... "everyone's been asking what ya doing here... I told em ya helping out with technical stuff.... You haven't left that *smile* mic on have ya?"

have airfares gone up yet 20 times their value for some unknown reason for the GF week to QLD? :)

But if Poort stay top as they should easily with key games at home, and we stay 4th, it still means we have to play our first final at AO with their howling feral 'noise of affirmation' fans (and supportive media) having some incredible influence over the umpires.
Along with the AFL clearly not wanting us winning another flag at all.
It's going to be tough.

So does that mean QLD tiger members will be guaranteed a GF ticket?

If tigers make it and they own a GF guarentee they would. Otherwise get on gumtree and buy one off a shutout melbourne member with one?

Cross that bridge when we get to it imo.

Still better to finish 4th and have a double chance.

If we beat Geelong I reckon we finish 3rd. Eagles will drop at least one of saints doggies
