The Finals thread

Ottens and Christensen superb that quarter. Varcoe might as well not be out there. Tragic for Menzel and a big hit for Cats' flag hopes. Tomahawk best I've seen him.

Stevie J amazing at times the look away handball then the soccer goal.

Christensen very impressive.

Cats smashing the clearances since Baily gone off.

What are these...fi nals...you speak of?

When teams WIN more than they lose, their season goes past the first week in September, it can even go into October... Honest and for true!

I honestly believe that losing Ottens was one of the dumbest things this club has done.

It certainly ranks pretty high on the stupid scale, from memory things broke down over a pay dispute and the rest is history.

What about the chain of handballs that lead to the Tomahawk goal in the square?

Stevie J, to Christensen to Selwood and brut power from the Tomahawk who is coming of age tonight.

Bigs take time.

Exhilarating few minutes- how much fun would it be barracking for a team like this?

They just burst into Harlem globetrotters mode sometimes.

Yeah we had to accomodate Wallet's salary after all.

What makes things worse is I heard recently that we were in absolutely no position in terms of draft knowledge to take advantage of the compensatory picks. Was effectively a stab in the dark. Total ineptitude. We basically gave him away for free. :-[

Best game I've seen from Hawkins, his workrate has been fantastic.

What a shocking umpiring stuff up Chapman gets legged and they give the tripping free to Lewis, Umps cost Cats a goal and what could be a real momentum swinger.

Umpires are ruining this game, last 2 hawks goals from frees the last one they shouldnt have even got..
