Team v Essendon

Does RCD get a look in?, a player who has not even made the emergency list (that I can recall in 2022). Ryan or Soldo and give Nank a really good rest? Stack and rest Edwards (who I thought did a hamstring, only to come back on)

Ross for Jack Graham?

Anyone else with a niggle, and there would be many come Round 23, also consider the benefits of a two week break.
RCD made emergency a couple of times. Can't see him being selected. Straight swap Graham for Ross seems logical.

bulldust. we've got a hard bodied, hard running fast contested marking triple premiership player as sub and you're still on with the extreme hate? You're an amazing man.
Has only played 4 games since Rd 11, a couple as sub. Just turned 26 and should be hitting his peak. I think that's a good reflection of where he is at. Great role player for our premiership years but the game has changed since then and we have far better options now.

Cumberland wasnt the best kick in his first few games either. Going at 15 goals 13 behinds so far. He looks better to the eye but still going at around 50%
Understandable to be nervy in your first couple of games. Has kicked 10g 6b since then and his misses aren't obvious ones that he should get, he's usually under extreme pressure. Have watched Cumbo alot in the reserves and he has to be close to if not our best kick for goal atm.

Appears as I said last week, Hurley set to retire and if he gets through training today will play a ‘farewell “ game against us.

Extra motivation for the team ?

I for one, will clap Hurley and wish him all the best after everything he has been through.

However, if he plays, Lynch in his current form will destroy him and be a serious challenge for the Coleman.

Pffft. Essendrugs don't have a great reputation for farewell games.
Plus at the moment the bummers are playing for themselves.

Has Sheedy come out yet and called this week the "line in the sand" game?

The clean-out is complete, the slate is clean.

I'm not throwing any aspersions at Hurley, he is the last player coached by Knighta, and played under the captaincy of the backstabbing, sniping, poor example setting Matthew Lloyd. Matthew Lloyd's culture legacy is over.

If you suspect that I loved Knighta, you're on the money.

Hurley is playing.
How do I say this will all due respect - Get it innside 50 and quickly !!!

I would think the Bombers show something, some last game passion. I watched some of the Port game and they at times simply gave up. Unlike Hawthorn that has quite a bit of inexperience and trying a few things Essendon just did not want to be on the park.

You would think (unless a call is made before then) they are ALL auditioning for Clarko and this would result in a red hot crack.... OR the wheels will completely fall off and we will see 10-15 goal thrashing.
