Talking Politics

Doing better than you, have you cleaned the froth off your keyboard yet? Your triggered state is even worse today, seriously, take a few Bex and have a lie down.

Your deflecting is getting more lame by the day too, but that concerns me not at all.

I figured it was the soft right wingers like you who wanted it closed down, always complaining when their arguments are exposed.

Mind you, it also fits the Zionist play book to a T. They have a long history of trying to close down any mention of Palestine, I've seen it many times.

You really do need to get a life. Are you sitting back smugly thinking you are proving something here after wasting most of your day posting your drivel. What a sad life you must lead.

DS
I certainly didn't ask for it to be closed down and like you I assumed it was the pro Israel lobby on this site who did given that they didn't want to engage with "anti semitic terrorist sympathisers".

I did however stop engaging and did some blocking. I find that the less morons you engage with each day improves your outlook on life

I have been using a very interesting site called ACLED which produces data about conflicts across the world. Here is one example showing attacks by and against Israel in the last 12 months and the source. The interesting thing to me is that the number of attacks against Israel by Hamas in recent months has basically stopped yet Israel continues to bomb the *smile* out of Gaza killing innocent people and destroying what is left of property. It just shows the lie they perpetrated that their sole purpose was to dismantle Hamas capability. They have done that but still continue.

What nonsense. You know exactly who wanted it closed down. I know the last sentence is aimed at me, but you were the one who left that thread ten times threatening never to come back. Talk about a selective memory. Then your pro Hamas mates got it closed down.

Of course you did. Your hypocritical arguments got the treatment they deserved. Just like a few of the others posting there. Then they sooked it up. As usual.

Well, when you surround yourself with like minded people, you’d know first hand.
You re not fooling anyone. As usual you throw veiled insults around then try to add a little post in to make it look legit. Pathetic mob you lot ;)

No they haven’t. You blind yourself their is still conflict there with Hamas elements still operating and viable. To use your own source.
Dated a month ago. Simialar date to your link. What a dummy.

Trump is a liar, not even his number one fanboy could deny that.
Well well well. A politician that tells lies. Who’d have thought that
If honesty doesn't matter to them.....well, that's on them.
Honesty is your highest standard to measure eh.
Well don’t forget some of Albanese’s lies when you vote for him again next year. :giggle:

I'd rather a thief than a liar. With a liar you don't know what the truth is, you don't know when the person is telling the truth.
With a thief you know you have to careful or you'll get ripped off.....................Oh wait Trump.........................

Well Albo is a proven liar many times over, and a thief as well. If all those lefties have such high standards, it looks like they’ll be voting for someone else next election.

At least my choice has morals and integrity. ;)

Old Triggertigerman you must be getting bored, you’re taking the cheats way out waiting for me to post something so you can reply :rotfl1
You need to find yourself some new material to trigger yourself, rather than rely on me to do it for you all the time.

Waiting for draft night to arrive seems to gnawing away at quite a few.
Too many get all triggered and riled up, nerves frayed with who might or might not pick.

Old political and territorial arguments raise their heads. And people react.

Just need to relax a bit folks. The US election is over. Apart from counting a couple of seats to determine any majority.
Trump won, so bleating, sooking and pulling your hair out won’t change the result.

Isarael, hamas and herzbollah are still at it. As are Ukraine and Russia, which looks like it might soon escalate.

Mealy mouthed Rudd has scrubbed all his media accounts. He didn’t mean anything mean. Little poonce.

Albo is still telling lies about electricity prices coming down. And other lies as well. About anything.

Bowen’s price of renewables have gone up by $520 billion. He forgot to add the decimal point, minus tan plus cos. It’s only taxpayers money..he said.

And a few other things.

Hamas came in existence in 1987. They would never have formed, and it wouldn't be the sh!tshow that it is now had Israel not commenced a program of land confiscation, illegal settlements, discrimination, torture and dispossession since 1967 in the West Bank against the Palestine people.

I was going to say that in my last post, but my head was hurting, so i let it go.

This is your quote "The tenets of Islam are not conducive to a tolerant society". So nothing against Palestinians?

Ahh....he finally pulled the anti-semite card. OK then, just show once instance where I have been anti-semite. Come on big boy...show me.

This is the last time I'll be replying to you, life is too short to associate with ignorant racists. As you support someone who fantasizes about having sex with his daughter....I guess you're OK with that? The standard you walk past is the standard you accept.

Go Tiges!

Playing the antisemite card is truly disgusting IMO. It’s a bullyboy tactic used to deflect from the genocide in Gaza. Many Jews do not support what the Israeli’s and Zionists are doing. The are many vocal Jewish groups calling it out.

As for the “tenets of Islam are not conducive to a tolerant society,” you can argue the same about Christianity. Christians are far from tolerant people.

I get why some are protesting for legitimate concerns, but why out the front of a Jewist family owned /started store.
Do these protestors have the same compassion for the Israeli people who where beheaded /shot /burned /raped and that includes babies .

The beheadings have been proved as disinformation. And the only burning I have seen, was the shocking footage of a Gaza hospital of mother and child on fire

As for Myer, if you’re more outraged about littler Johhny missing out on the Myer windows than people protesting about little Yahya getting murdered in Gaza, then your priorities are wrong.

I’ve never seen so many people triggered by a man standing for election in another country.

Because fair minded people are questioning how a rapist, convicted felon, a traitor, a likely paedophile, a likely tax cheat, a wannabe dictator, could even be eligible to run for president, let alone have 75 million USA citizens vote for him.

I’ve said this to a few mates, but if put all the politics aside and just look purely at the man, you see a man who should be locked up and the key thrown away. Pure and simple. And I would say the same if Trump (or someone of similar ilk) ran for the other side.

And this time around, I really don’t think Americans know what they’re in for. Its going to be 2 years of extreme conservative and anti-science policies (before he loses the house) and 4 years of Trump trying to get revenge on his so-called enemies. And then in 2028, Trump - if he’s still alive - will try to break all convention by running again… You can take that to the bank.

I think you severally underestimate the magnitude of Trump's lying. To even put Trump and Democrats in the same sentence shows that you either choose to ignore, or just don't see, the extent of Trumps lies.
Can't argue with someone who really thinks there are hordes out there who put Trump to shame in the lying department. For starters no-one else does 3 hr rambling speeches everyday and spend the rest of the day and night writing Twitter posts.

Not sure how much you follow U.K. politics but have a look at some of the pre-election stuff from Labour, and what they’ve done since they came into power. Even the left are struggling to justify it.

They’ve put Trump and the Democrats to shame.
They're struggling, but nothing on Trump or Farage et al in terms of outlandish promises. And as I've said earlier, the left and right are held to different standards, The Right have a license to be reactionary, its what they do. The Left are expected to justify policy on the basis of evidence and demonstrable benefit to society.

I have a family member who sells blind fabric out of China to a US supplier of blinds/curtains. His US customer has been advised that there will be a 60% tarrif imposed on the product.

What that means for the Trump challenged thinkers is if he wants to contnue to import the product from China 'they, the US owned company" as the purchaser will need to pay the tarrif.

The reality is he will not be able to coninue to sell this product unless he puts his price up accordingly.

Assuming his RM are around 50% of his cost, adding 60% to that makes it 80% of his cost. To maintain his gross $ margin his sell price will need to rise by 30%. What consumer will bear that?

Will labour costs rise with ???000's workers being deported? Do they have the capacity to fill that void - this has to create upward pressure on wages.

And it looks like this will happen with everything coming from China. Do existing manufacturers of like in the US have the ability to scale up? Is someone going to invest multiple millions in new manufacturing plant on the basis of a potentially short window? Will the US gov't offer massive incentives to setup new plants?

How can you possibly wind back globalisation?

The only inputs I can see decreasing are energy costs (how quickly though?) with the drilling for oil/gas forecast increase. But they are not making up such a large % of the costs of production in most cases.

Trumps policies surely will see inflation rise significantly, increasing cost of living pressures? Will they be offset by wage rises and/or tax cuts?

And I assume the impact would be felt here with a decrease in demand for iron ore from China particularly as their production reduces?

He actually doesn't need to change that much in the constitution. They only need to add 1 word to change the 2 term mandate to a 2 term consecutive mandate, if they added the word consecutive to the 2 term mandate, then he can stand for re-election.

I have no doubt they will find a loophole

Rising Inflation won't concern Trump, he and Musk are only interested in how much Bitcoin goes up, and how many billions they are going to make from it.
