Looks like Daisy will have a long lay-off so the poor suckers who picked him up will need to trade him out again. A straight swap with Franklin or Priddis would seem like the best alternative.

Two weeks is the bare minimum, I just think these time frames should be taken with a grain of salt. Beams has been listed as 2-3 weeks for a month now, ankles can be fickle as well.
Anyway, I will hold for now, my priority is to cash in my Port rookies and grab Priddis. Deledio is also looking irresistible next week.

I have 20 but with plenty of kids at or near there peak and a few starting out so i expect to chew through plenty now.

This is an awkward week because there's no obvious bubble boys. It goes against one of my golden rules but I'm going Staker, despite the fact that he hasn't played a game yet.
For me , it's all about job security and Staker is definitely in Brisbane's starting line-up. He's already played 3 games at reserves level and he offers excellent flexibility given his dual position status. This comes in handy even in the event he initially bombs, he can basically be hidden on the bench at either end of the ground.
Just a word of warning, wait until the final team is announced just to ensure he's not sub, if he is then consider going for Thurlow, but there's also a risk he could also be named as a sub.
yeah, the rookies are drying up and I've got a stockpile of them i need to get rid of - especially Port players. was looking at sierakowski but he's been dropped. who would thurlow be competing with? Rivers and Hunt would be his main threats. seems chris scott likes to give kids a go.

It may be the case that towards the later rounds you roll with one man short across some of the lines, and use the swinger to cover injuries.... I am not sure yet, but am hopeful Crouch and Pittard will get game time soon....

Not a brilliant week for me, but I guess not too bad considering I was missing Gibbs, Shaw and Daisy. Overall ranking is 399 so I'm hanging in there, despite dropping a couple of hundred places.
This week will see me shed Daisy & Stephenson, bringing in Thurlow and Deledio. Lids is bargain basement at $544,000 and will round out my midfield until I upgrade O'Meara in round 13.
