Very impressive score, you're certainly closing the gap at a rate of knots. I reckon overlooking Vlastuin and Ellis could come back to haunt me, I wanted them but they didn't fit into my budgetary constraints at the time.

2277 with Stevie J and Gibbs on the woodwork, best trade this year is turning out to be getting Ellis at his rock bottom. Could very well end up being a keep with the way the other backs are scoring this year.

Latest word is that Cox is doubtful for this week and Daisy has been booked in for surgery, time to cut him loose for all those holding.

question about dual position players:
if i have player A who is a back/fwd in my team as a back, player B who is fwd/mid who is in my team as a fwd and player c (mid/back) who is in my team as a mid.
can i sub them to move player A to fwd,
player B to mid and
player c to back?

does that make sense? i cant swap them directly but i cant see that i can make a threeway sub, even tho they will all be going to a position they should be able to play.

this week im thinking Thomas for NicNat and Goodes for maybe Staker (or some other cheapie.)

To anwer your question, it's not possible with one trade but it can be done with two.

For example, this week I will trade out Daisy from the forward line then replace him with Staker (who is sitting in the backline), the new purchase will then be Thurlow which also frees up a bit of cash. I will then move Stevenson on and replace him with Gibbs, this opens up the midfield which allows me to buy Deledio or Selwood. It seems convoluted but it has allowed me to move Gibbs back, Staker forward and replace Daisy with a midfielder (despite not having a direct link).

Not sure what I will do this week...

Although I'm not doing too well in the PRE league, my starting team is shaping up nicely :

My mids are Ablett, Kennedy, Cotchin, Priddis, Goddard, O'Meara, Watson & J. Selwood

Defense : Waters, Gibbs, Lester, Shaw, Goodes, Vlastuin

Rucks Maric & Leuenberger

Fwd's Franklin, Rockliff, Kennedy, Dwyer, Cox, Mayes

Might go Macaffer to Staker and Mayes to N. Riewoldt this week as I have $$$ in the bank.

thanks. i was hoping you could do it without having to trade but it doesnt look like you can.

im rethinking my trades for this week.
maybe Harvey and Staker in and Thomas and Kommer out.

im basically aiming toward a starting 22 of 'stars', then 1 reasonable sub and 1 cheapie on each line. as long as injuries dont strike i should get there.

Content with my 2448 last week all my team is starting this week keep my trades for upcoming byes

Had it with Heath Shaw, gone. IN comes Flossy, out goes Jaeger O'Meara in comes Jobe.

Waters and Shaw are killing me.

Thinking of going Goddard back to defence and trading Waters for Pendlebury. Will hang onto Shaw.

Maybe Mayes to Staker as well but I might wait and do that next week.

Will likely pass on Thurlow.

Traded Whitfield for GC's Lonergan (hopefully generates some cash on the bench)
Then traded Chris Knights for Jordan Lewis, still have 74k.

Next week will be looking to trade O'Meara or Goodes for a premium mid.
