Supercoach 2011

hurting this weekend. ouch

Carlton players out. Usually no problems, but

Montagna out.

Toy and Harris out as well.

Puopolo I need to play.

Gaff I need to play.

And bloody Taylor Walker been mine biggest dissapointment this year, thought he would come on this year, especially with Tippett getting the attention.

I don' have Big Sandy in the ruck, going to have to get him.

Took a punt with Supercoach. Sidewide movement from Jack Grimes into Bob Murphy who the Bulldgos are playing through off half back. Hope his body holds up. Also traded out of Cunrow and put the cash into Col Sylvia. Tumbled 9,000 spots last week into about 17,000. Not good.

Yeah, if Swan is playing it's hard to go past a 133 average. Ling always goes to Pendlebury so he should run around on his own.

As for your risky trades, go for it. No more point playing it safe in Supercoach, need to take some risks. Might pay off might not. My strategy is normally to go hard early and upgrade my team ASAP. Worked last year and finished top 1500. Sitting 4,700 at the moment.

Screwed this week though - Murphy, Gibbs, Montagna, Higgins, Curnow, Harris all out. Reserve in Toy out (K-Hunt stays though, lol). Hibberd, Prestia not in. Montagna has been a big disappointment so far this year only averaging 99 down from about 115, this may be the incentive I need to trade him to a bottomed out Joel Selwood who will push his average up to 115+. O'Keefe is very tempting too, even though Higgins has pushed up his scoring he's just missing too many games for my liking. So costly. His troublesome groin too I believe. Might give him 1 more week and hopefully Matera can do the job for me again. Don't want to burn too many trades.
 
Made a couple of trades this week, Curnow out for I.Smith and Thompson out for Watson. Didnt want to trade this week but with Carlton having the bye and Harris out and some doubt on Thompson in some doubt i carnt afford not to. Dont want to risk getting a donut or two hurting my ranking of 522 overal.

On another note, when do people think you should give up on the overal ranking and focus on your private leagues? Ive got 4800 riding on one of my leagues!!
 
I traded Grimes for Fisher.

Had Swan as my captain - no good.

Will look to upgrade for Shaw in defence later on as I already have Gibbs, Heppell, Enright, Adcock, Newman and now Fisher.

Selwood is looking good too.

Fisher scored a noice 159 for me first up.

I'm keeping him.

Goddard might not get back to his Supercoach best (or he actually might) but he is still averaging over 100 and not too many other defenders are.

Ride the wave. Too far down to back out. I have the same issue with Didak, Nick Riewoldt and Joey Montagna.

Just trying to trade around them. They have to come good. Didak is the real worry, going like a busted at the minute.
 
Might slaughter a cow this week at the moment i'm thinking Swallow, turn him into Isacc Smith.

Might look at cashing Toy aswell dont think he'll go up much more

Toy will rise in price as long as he plays more games.

I'd hang onto him for now. Swallow to Smith would be a good trade.

I'm looking at Stanley to Hibberd and either Matera or McKernan to Smith ATM.
 
I agree Toy might have a little more of a rise left in him he has a break even of 30 in his next game, i have Batch, Puopolo and Luke Thompson back there so one has to go. Toy is in the gun as he hasnt been a regular and theres a little more upside to the other.

I'm open to suggestions
