Agree 100%, on Ch7 Bruce seems to set up a narrative for the game & they call to the story instead of the game itself. During games they have discussions that need to be had at half time & post game etc.

It's a common fault among most TV sports commentators that they feel they have to be saying something constantly. If they run out of things to say, they will for example read out the time remaining in a game in case people watching don't know how to read the countdown clock. During the NRL grand final we were told 3257 times that it has been (?)27 years since a team has gone back-to-back premiers. Richie Benaud had some good advice for these imbeciles.

I always try and find a radio broadcast to synch with while watching a muted TV. Most times they have something to say that is more relevant to what you are watching.
