Fantastic win without the big 4! Next tear and the kids, have stood up without having them there to do the "special" stuff that has won us so many games over the past two seasons.

Cotch, Dusty, Rance, Jack R,. Houli, Grigg, Short. That's a far greater loss of players than the slugpies last year, but I've only heard Jonno Brown say we were Brave.

i listened to the first quarter on radio on my way home from a day out and had the ABC on. they had some local SA commnentary team covering the game, and deat set... they did not know the names of our players. very unprofessional.

If you expect it to be biased it will be, and it's all you'll hear.

Nick R and Jono (I think) were clearly on our side.

As he always does. Hudson has 2 teams - Geelong and whoever is playing Richmond! His commentary last year of Daniel Rioli kicking an amazing first quarter goal against the Swans at the now Marvel Stadium is gold. Instead of focussing on Daniel's anticipation and amazing banana goal, Huddo was lamenting how the Swans player misjudged the ball in flight and let it get over him!

It is definitely a Geelong theme. Whately, Hudson, Russell. I reckon it might stem from them owning us for so many years and treating us as a joke.

When we slapped them in the 2017 QF, they had never experienced such a hostile atmosphere and have been mentally scarred since.

Their sooky coach never has a positive word about us either :clap

Nearly as good as the 5AA broadcast of the GF.

Not sure if it was 5AA or another Adelaide station, but one of the SA radio broadcasts was very good. Very fair and complementary. Must have a been a PA affiliated station
