The Cats flag will forever have an asterisk because of competition interference & conflict of interest by their former & current employee.
Lot of inbreeding going on at AFLHQ, no conflict at all. There's no capacity to think any other way.
Interesting isn't it, Cats win a flag & the state of the game topic & rule changes has completely disappeared....
No need to change the fabric of the game in 2023 when Geelong has won the flag in 2022

Yep. We win 3 flags and the game is ruined and in the worst state it’s ever been in. SHocking decides rule change after rule change is the only way to save the game. The handbaggers finally get their flag and the game has miraculously been fixed
Just finished reading the Neil Balme biography and Neil has some things to say about SHocking. They used to be pretty close when Neil was footy manager at Geelong. In fact Neil said he felt comfortable leaving the position because he was confident SHocking would handle the position after he left. However, now Neil says he can hardly talk to SHocking after what he's done to the game !
So, you aren't imagining things, even the Godfather of modern football culture, the Guru of Premiership Clubs can't stand what SHocking has done to screw up the world's best game. History will judge him and it won't be pretty.

The media is to blame to pricks like Healy Hutchinson & Parrot constantly complaining about the game but all silent on the western front now
