ok, since it's the start of grand final week, a gf question. Who was the last player to make his debut in a Grand Final, who did he play for and what year was it?
Who has kicked the most goals in finals (career) since the Page or Page-McIntyre finals system was first used, and how many goals has/did he kick?

78 goals. Coventry has the most overall and Jack Titus is third on 74.

2, round robin in 1924 and 1929, where we beat collingwood but they had a right of challenge as minor premier and they beat us in the grand final.

Under the Argus system from 1902 to 1930 the minor premier had the right to challenge the winner of the finals series if they did not win.
1929 We beat Collingwood by 10goals in the semi, then beat Carlton by 6 pts. As minor premier Collingwood challenged at won by 6pts.
1919 We been Collingwood by 29pts and then had to play them again the next week as challenger when they won by 25pts.
1924 the Argus system was dropped for one year. We finished on top, beat Essendon by 20pts in a round robin finals series and lost the premiership on percentage to Essendon.
To be fair we did win a premiership off Collingwood in 1920 as the minor premier challenger.
So I guess the net answer is two.
