Lol at the highlights reel the Tigers put up of hammer. In there was a set shot goal kicked from directly in front, a chest Mark and an uncontested mark over his head. Simes it up really, not enough to make up a full highlights reel.

He kicked a bag against us once didn't he? They could've included that

You must have missed the butler-like sidestep and snapped goal. Lol at selective vision.

Megan Gale said he played injured for most of his career.
2016 was his best year and was heart breaking he missed 2017 our premiership year due to injury.

No I didn't miss it, good snap. But I've never seen a straight forward goal, a basic chest mark and an uncontested overhead mark in a career highlights reel before. I think that says alot about his career. Good luck to him, at least he got to taste AFL level footy.

Farewell, Shaun. You gave it your best shot. So close and yet so far. Anyone that watched him closely in 2016 could see him battling through the pain barrier. This game takes a heavier toll on big bones and joints, probably ageing them earlier.

Hope we don't miss out on a great F/S young giant in the future though.

Well he was a GF emergency. Pretty close to being in the team.

It would have been a state of emergency if he made the 22. Dont doubt he was hampered by injury and you cant knock a bloke for his effort at the top level and potential lack of requisite talent. But this was the worst recruitment decision of recent times

Worse than Yarran?

Yeah, probably.

Yarran had the talent JB. That was just poor (or non existent) due diligence. We traded good value for Hampson when the entire world knew he couldn't catch a ball.

Waste of time and space for the Richmond Football club
Cost $1.5 million dollars in salay
$3.2 million in medical costs
$1 mil in coaching
#28 in the draft

All just to stay home and give megan a good time

SPUD of a footballer that should never have been allowed to set foot in Richmond

So the club does get it wrong sometimes (or wrong if you disagree with them?). Tiger Maso was on the money.

Poor decision to draft him, most were against it at the time, but he gave his best.

The trading for Hampson IMO, signifies “old Richmond”. I just don’t think if we were after a ruckman today we’d trade for 2013 calibre of Shaun Hampson.

Don't know about that. We were desperate because we were killing Ivan. We needed someone quick and we weren't really a destination club.

If Nank went down now and we were outside the 8 we'd be more than capable of making a similar decision.

Honest toiler who we overpaid for. But he had a crack. Effort was always there.

None of that is his fault. We won a flag, I’m never going to be bitter about the trade now.

Would you do the same trade again? Never. But not Hammers fault, ripping bloke.

We're all. Just jealous of him. Tall. Good looking rooster, played for Richmond and goes home to Megan Gale every night. Stuff of fantasy.

Spot on. Didn't work out but you can't win em all.
