We were into him prior to him signing his last contract.
When we like a player we usually continue tailing them. Every chance he'll be a Tiger.

He'd be an upgrade on Derrickx, but only just and that's not worth using a 2nd rounder on. Be a waste of a pick.

Hampson is fine for a later draft pick. Certainly a step up from Derrickx.
His average game stats are fine, good mobility, 4-5 marks & 10-20 HOs a game, and kicks reasonably for goal.

Probably suffers selection blues (no pun intended) due to Warnock & Kreuzer already being there.
And he has a lovely looking girlfriend.

I see no hope in him.
Always been an athlete trying to play football. Lacks footy smarts and has butter fingers. For a guy his size drops a lot of marks except when playing Richmond key defenders. Maybe why we like him.

Yes from me
1. I think that the recruiting team have earned the benefit of the doubt with their efforts over the last few years;
2. I think that he could well end up spending more time in the ruck freeing up Ivan to spend more time in the forward line and I think that the Mullet will be quite handy down there as, whilst he is not massively mobile, he is a good set shot; and
3. I reckon he is coming into the right age group to have a decent impact in the ruck, with lots of precedents of people stepping up at this age (Jamar and Maric to name a couple) after being written off by forum experts as complete spuds

Yes from me: takes the strain Off Vickery and Maric and I've seen video of him cradling packs and it isn't soft

I cannot believe some posters are actually saying yes to recruiting this guy
Staggering, I must of missed the game where he played well, every game I've seen this guy play is hopeless
Hopefully we're only getting him for our vfl side. Rookie pick at best for me
