Scratch Match 12 Sep

Ummm...after watching the clip from the scratch match it seems to me that we could easily pick several players to come into the side. The fact that we can cover fwds, mids and def.speaks volumes. Kudos to the whole football department:clap2. I'd hate to be a selector.

The trouble with scratch matches is they are lower in intensity and robustness with no one risking getting hurt. Many look good in these matches but to translate it into a full on ALF game is a different matter

That’s how it looked to me.
Lacked any real intensity from that vision. that’s All we can go on.
Still it’s better than just training.

If Mabs plays AFL like it showed in the scratch highlights he would be a real find for us

Ivan Maric just said on Tiger Time that Mab's will compliment Nank well, said he can pick up the ball and make midfielders look silly like Shai:cool:

In Ivan we trust. A very highly regarded tiger man internally and amongst supporters!

I think he may have already been discovered, UK. Even right back when we selected him as well as in games this year especially.

Really worried if Chol comes in. I just don’t trust him, and think he could be a Very weak link in a big Final. Would rather try something left field, with possibly Balta playing 2nd ruck if Astbury comes back. I know it’s a bit late in the piece, but just think Balta would compete so much better.

don't agree at all. more likely to go the opposite way IMO. Put it this way, fair enough he isn't first choice, but I'm pretty happy having him in reserve.
