Sam Lloyd

Deserved and still improving. Amazing really considering he plays in a Hardwick side. I sometimes wonder what he might be achieving in another team like Bulldogs or Hawks with a more attaching style.

Definately still improving.

Was impressed with his ability to break tackles and give a 'don't argue' on Friday night

2 year deal...well done Sam

Can't argue with that. He's had a very good year.
Very smart (genuine) footballer who has an innate goal sense.
My only query is on his pace but Rioli's injection up forward has helped on that front.
Lloyd is in competition with Lennon for a spot.

Now that Lloyd has been given a bit of security I really hope he continues to seek higher standards for himself ... puts in a big pre-season ... and puts in a blinder of a season next year. He has some natural abilities and a few freakish tricks up his sleeve. If he keep s building his foundation and developing a strong tank then he could be a real live-wire up forward for seasons to come. Hope he rises to the challenge that lies before him.

You'd hope that he continues his upwards trajectory but this is Richmond so he,ll play about a dozen games next year and kick 15 goals, play 6 games in '18 and disappear..... >:D

Good to see that Lloyd could make nearly forty goals for the season.

Been a great get for the Tiges.

He got the most out of himself.

Look at his body shape from a few years ago, at seasons start i could tell he wasn't going to leave any question marks on himself, has done extremely well and very happy to have him, hope he keeps his fitness up, when he has it in the forward line im confident of a goal normally!!

Well 35 goals for Sammy this year. An excellent effort, hope he improves on that in 2017.

From the RFC interview:

“It’s a very important part of the game, kicking goals. If you don’t kick goals, you don’t win."

Hope he's had a word to Dimma.

That was his quite effective way of having a word to Dimmer.
