Make no mistake about it, Wallace is in strife.
He has to get the boys playing better football and not that pissy, handball *smile* they were pulling off tonight.
If he doesn't, it will be goodbye, and from this poster, it would be more than appreciated if he goes.

Excellent post diggler but unfortunately these ferals just refuse to see the bigger picture.
Can someone answer the following question.
Why after finishing the season strongly last year, by throwing out all the cr@p and playing one on one contested footy, would Wallace try and re-invent the wheel??? Out tackling had improved, as did our pressure. Why, why, why???
Why try and copy another teams style and tactics, when you clearly know your players don't have the smarts or skills to execute it. Why not try and come up with YOUR own bloody tactics that suit YOUR own bloody players.
He is as clueless as they come and needs to be shown the door ASAP if we are to progress. Still no structure evident in the side especially when we are bringing the ball out of our backline. Seems the defender running out looks, and basically just bombs it and hopes Richo can make a 200 metre run and mark the ball!!

Surely it can't be the latter, yet when you see the players train, they invariably look good (wth the odd exception) in this area. Their skills seem to melt under the pressure of a real game.
We are a much better side the then the Pies but the difference is the coach.

When they gain possession they spread to position quickly giving plenty of options and then move the ball fluently in strait lines as football should be played. Their forwards lead hard and to the right spots because they are well drilled. When they don't have possession they tackle hard to regain possession. Their style is basic commonsense uncomplicated football.
Wallace what can I say it speaks for its self. No structure, no understanding, no movement up the ground, no team work, sideways, backwards, suicide handball, lazy players and no accountability.

My answer is yes because there is no way we will play finals on current and previous form. He has enough talent now so there will be no excuses if we are zero wins after round 4.

Its not a matter of panicking in the preseason comp its the fact that the same old shitty gameplan is still in effect and getting us nowhere after 5 miserable years. Hahahahaha....one loss in a preseason nothing match and threads like these and the gutted one pop up......gee look forward to the ones around the mid season mark if these are anything to go by. After that there will be alot of sole searching by the posters who think we are going to finish top six that is for sure.
Convert, I won't panic or stress out about a NAB cup loss. I wasn't terribly impressed with the standard of the game, I agree with that much. What I hope for is to see the club build a future, and an improved reputation. Sacking a coach after a pre-season round 2 loss would not help, to say the very least.
