Yes, it wasn't great last week, but both side had 53 inside 50's, and we won the clearances, it was our forward entries that let us down.
Pretty sure Dave Astbury gave him clip and a few words, a couple of seasons back.
Cost Dave a couple of grand from memory.
Probably I am mostly still peed off re last week with us having play GCS at the Dump; no HG benefit to us at all really, and no negatives for them in terms of 'Southern' conditions/weather, whereas all other sides have to cop their environmental advantages no matter what, at THEIR HGs. But I've already posted elsewhere that we have to suck it up - it is what it us since the AFL endorses and owns Marvel - and just to rediscover how to play there.
I know it is several Melbourne teams HG; they and Cartoon can suck that up. But, in the long run, it may remain as a distinct disadvantage to the Qld teams if they have little experience playing at the MCG in harsh, open-air conditions if they get to finals and cop that.
For us, it's a neutral game almost; no benefit. Just to them.

Might be in trouble but when I was listening to the game the commentary didn’t ‘push the agenda’ of being ‘in trouble’.
