Round 7 other games

Can't help putting ourselves in that position and feeling the wave of relief when Lynch or Riewoldt marked like Cameron did. And then to have it taken off us...

Upcoming umpire shitstorm warranted.
No way. You cannot reduce a game result to one decision, although it can appear responsible.

Every team gets bad decisions (especially RFC, as the stats prove) and wins some wrong or poor decisions - which often lead to goals. Go see the Close goal for the Moggies; no way was it a free there.

Incidentally, just to make the Mogs more sour, when Papley kicked his match-winning goal, his attempted HB was a throw - made no contact with his fist.

You have to go back and review every decision if you're going to review one. Even if it happens e.g. AFL admitting Blicsav free was an error for Lions loss. When has a result ever been overturned?

The game was won and lost on that call. Was barracking for Sydney but couldn't help feeling the confusion and then shock that Geelong supporters would've felt when the kick was taken off Cameron. No amount of rationalising would stop me from being shitty with the world for a couple of days. Swings and roundabouts be damned.

If one of the field umpires called 'touched', fair enough, nothing to complain about. But I'm yet to see that confirmed by any official source.

Alright you want to be emotive, not rational? Fine, I understand. But what I said will still be true.

Would you look at the teams at the bottom of the ladder.
Amazing

The karma bus hit the cats between the eyes when they were gifted the 4 points against the lions.
Cats had the rub of the green tonight. Even in the 3rd by memory, Close got a *smile*-free which resulted in a goal and put the cats back in front.

You could hear the umpire calling "not 15" repeatedly through the TV, although no doubt the crowd drowned out the ump out. Not sure what the swans player was doing at the end, he was a little lucky.

Had there been another 1-2 secs left on the clock he would've been pinged, the umpire was looking closely at it but the siren went so no free.

Yes I definitely heard the “not 15” call. My theory is the ump made that judgement while the ball was still in flight.

He said touched play on from watching it this morning. Richo is the one who went with the not 15m.

Totally agree with this explanation. They usually give them heaps of time to get it out before calling it. Siren beat him to the punch

Really enjoyed Duckwood sooking it up when he didn't get the holding the ball decision. It would have topped my night off if Duckwood had been penalised for a high tackle.

*smile* oath. I want to feel something when I watch the game. I'm not coaching.

For some reason, I feel pain every time the cats win this season (see the lions game, north games especially) and pure pleasure when they lose.

Last night’s defeat was pure ecstasy and the way it happened made my day.

Don't worry about blaming the umpires.
Are the media going to highlight fat guts efforts in the last qtr?
Are the media going to highlight Duncan's & Cam Gurthies efforts in the last 5 minute's?
And are the media going to call out the worse Ruckman in the competition out?
I don't think so

Yep. Just listen to it then. Clear as day.

Yep spot on - just saw it now for the first time on AFL highlights page
Umpire definitely called “touched play on”
Richo thought he’d called “not 15” but got it wrong

Ahhhh the serenity

Port Adelaide will float back home next week and play another bottom 4 side.
While we continue on playing top 4 contenders every fken week.
Hinkley should get the ass if they don't finish top 4 with that bottom 6 draw they got.
