Round 7 other games.

Collingwood have mastered the art of propelling the ball forward and making it look like a handball.

To the uneducated eye that is.

Anyone with half decent eyesight can see that what they do is more a throw and certainly not a handball.

Does my head in.

The De Goey love fest took all of 1 minute to start by the media. Led by Brown who said he is the most powerful player in the competition.

2 weeks ago the headlines were
'Give Degoey's money to Moore'
Robbo

Wait and see that headline disappear.

I couldn’t see it (but I’m half blind) but they kept saying it in the commentary “was that a throw?”

How does this team full of trucks keep winning, it continues to do my head in.

They get a free ride in the middle.
Grundy constantly gets free kicks that NO other ruckman in the history of the game wouldve got.
The throwing started early. Treloar had 2 in the first qtr.
There defenders NEVER give away free kicks. Varcoe gave away 1 last night, because that was the 10th time he was holding a Geelong player.
They have this special skill, where the drop the ball as they're being tackled, any other side would be penalised, they get holding the man free kicks.

Back to the game.
Moore down back is a wall. You need to put a 'Townsend 'on him to try to stop him intercepting.
Treloar, Penderbury and Adams run out these mini games.
There forward line is full of C graders but they seem to have a method when the go forward.
One week TAB pops up with 3, then its Milockecks turn etc.
They're doing what collingwood always seem to do, play really well and then capitulate in September.
But this year its October.
1980 September, loss
1990 October, WIN
2002 September, loss
2003 September, loss
2010 October, WIN
2011 September, loss
2018 September, Loss
2020 October??????
1990, 2010, 2020???

McVanney is in a bit of trouble especially with the women of this country.
He apparently called Degoey's charge a 'hiccup'
Brucy your a goose.

Free kick against Varcoe only came about because the ump thought he was still playing for Geelong!

Moore is playing excellent footy at the moment...hopefully it is only because a new contract is coming (unless he cross to the Tigers next year).

Walking out of the square after a point has slowed the game down. Rarely see the quick play on.

Why is the umpiring a big deal today?
Why wasn't a big deal after our game, when get murdered by them.
Or the Essendon game when they tried there best to get Collingwood back into the game?
Social media today isn't about degoy's 5 or Foreskin's mark.
It's all about the FREE ride Collingwood get from the umpires.

I saw about 5 minutes of this. The way that players get possession in the back half and just have nowhere to go is so noticeable in the game this year. Is it the short quarters, better defensive set-ups? I don't know, but it sure is hard to see how a team can play attacking football the way it is going.

There has to be a solution, and that solution does not include just giving yet more free kicks to Collingwood.

DS

I think the solution is Jason Castgne at CHB

im afan of Moore, but Gary Rohan is not a big scalp

Razor free kick distribution 14 to 1.

If the AFL had any accountability or transparency whatsoever, which they don't,

there would be a mechanism to review this kind of consistent disparity.

Someone needs to start a public campaign against the favouritism that the pies get from the umps.

Someone who is able to take on Eddie and the establishment and not back down.

Adam Goodes would probably apply

but seriously, this is the 3rd year in a row, at least, where Collingoowd regularly double the oppositions free count, within games and across seasons.

it needs explaining

Now Doggies lets see you pop the Druggies back in their box tonight.

The media palarvour has already started on them again for the night and already getting up my goat

OMG the amount of pump up the fox commentators are giving to the Bombers, you had Parrot saying they had the best defence in the comp today. The dogs may well bring them back to reality tonight. They play like we do against the Bombers and they struggle with that.
