How soft was the Selwood downfield.

Was *smile*. The free was there but should have been given to Selwood where he kicked it. He can't kick 50m so Cats got a gift.

Umpires just snuffed out any chance of a Hawks comeback. The push in the back free was barely there but regardless it clearly took place as Cheatwood was kicking so any free kick should have been at the point of the kick which was inside the centre square. Yet of course the umpires paid it downfield and gifted Geewhinge an easy goal with a shot 35m out.

That said you just knew the Hawks would cough it up when they went 70m across to ground and then left it to possibly the worst kick in the AFL, Frost, to bring it through the corridor.
