Melbourne just doesn't look like the team of 2021. Their 2nd stringers aren't playing as well as last year. To reliant on the top tier
yes that too. Crows flogged sides more than we did, but we had the better defence. History shows we changed how the game is played, and the stats we were dominant in at the time are now used as yardsticks. Crows are a case study in what not to do. Apart from the fact we won the GF, the fact we dominated 2018 and they fell away underscores the hype of 17.Tigersnake, you forgot to mention the impact of the player whom the Crows blooded in the 17 Final Series, Ranger Hubris.
Crows would have finished further in front on the ladder if they didn't rest heaps of players in round 23. Also, they beat the cats by 65 points in the prelim and beat us by 76 points in the home and away seasonBest team for most of the H&A sure, but should've won it is a decent stretch. Finished a draw above us. Their dominance and favouritism was overstated and overhyped, thankfully, and it contributed to us winning the flag. Also most opposition fans and pundits just couldn't comprehend the idea of us winning. At the time I can see why they were hot favourites with all non-tigers, but in hindsight, when you look at the data, they should only have been warm favourites.
Did you hear the scum supporters yell out Woof when Saad handballed it
Btw Sadd doesn't even kick the ball long like Ange Christou used to
After 10 rounds all the talk was about how is anyone going to beat them. 10 rounds later 6 teams had worked out how.Melbourne aren't looking anywhere near as dangerous as they did earlier in the year. Was hoping they'd have the form to knock out Geelong in the finals if they're matched up against them but I don't see it.
6 points rather than 2 on top? We also flogged Geelong. Not compelling data. My point stands, the red hot favouritism was based on hype rather than facts.Crows would have finished further in front on the ladder if they didn't rest heaps of players in round 23. Also, they beat the cats by 65 points in the prelim and beat us by 76 points in the home and away season
It's pretty idiotic. The worst is when he kicks it all of about 10 metres and the fans do it.Did you hear the scum supporters yell out Woof when Saad handballed it

Saad too many up and under kicks and sub 15 meter fluff passes.Saad couldn't tie Drioli's shoe laces this year. Daniel does what Saad does plus kicks goals
Checked out like the rest of his team mates did.......................................................... In MarchGaff having a deadset mare against the Dockers.
Three shocking turnovers on the last couple of minutes
Woof had used it's use by date after Val Perovic retired.Did you hear the scum supporters yell out Woof when Saad handballed it

Yep Crows were and should have been hot favourites. The greatest satisfaction for me was, at the ground on grand final day, the smugness of the Crows supporters before the game and arrogance to halfway in the 2nd quarter being slowly and methodolically wiped away.Crows would have finished further in front on the ladder if they didn't rest heaps of players in round 23. Also, they beat the cats by 65 points in the prelim and beat us by 76 points in the home and away season
The big Cho man was renowned for flubbing the absolute gimme goal enough to give fans nightmares but still went at about 62% career average for goal kicking.Nah I'm talking absolute soda set shots. Richo had heaps of games when he missed, for example, a soda, and easy one, and a couple of gettable ones. Thats different. I remember heaps of Richo games when he kicked say 5 and you think 'he could have kicked 8 or 9', but that may have included 1, max 2 sodas. But I'm making the distinction here, easy and gettable are different from set shot sodas. Besides, Richos missed goal legend has grown with time. He wasn't good, but he wasn't as bad as often as the mythology.
Maybe its happened before, probably has, but I'm not aware of it. 4 set shot soda misses from a key forward.
Hammies gone ?Saad too many up and under kicks and sub 15 meter fluff passes.
