yes that too. Crows flogged sides more than we did, but we had the better defence. History shows we changed how the game is played, and the stats we were dominant in at the time are now used as yardsticks. Crows are a case study in what not to do. Apart from the fact we won the GF, the fact we dominated 2018 and they fell away underscores the hype of 17.
Crows would have finished further in front on the ladder if they didn't rest heaps of players in round 23. Also, they beat the cats by 65 points in the prelim and beat us by 76 points in the home and away season

Yep Crows were and should have been hot favourites. The greatest satisfaction for me was, at the ground on grand final day, the smugness of the Crows supporters before the game and arrogance to halfway in the 2nd quarter being slowly and methodolically wiped away.
The big Cho man was renowned for flubbing the absolute gimme goal enough to give fans nightmares but still went at about 62% career average for goal kicking.
Was always one that could make the difficult look easy, then 30 seconds later give the fans conniptions by missing the lolly pop shot.
