When I look at there recruiting ours dosent seem as bad.
They picked Billings before Bomtmytelly
They missed Naughton with 2 picks
They gave away a 1st rounder for Higgins.
Hill is a absolute dud. How they thought he would improve them as me fked.
Not sure Marshall is as good as the media make him out to be, without Ryder he is useless.
Gresham is there best player but injury prone.
Steele is good ok footballer. Not captain material.
When Sinclair is rated your best player, your a bottom 4 side.
And King is just another average full foward that is a shocking kick at goal.
Overall a very balanced side full of B And C grade footballers.
Ratten looks spent.
 
Something will have to change coz Giants look like they’ll get flogged at this rate trying to play such a contrived style.

You could almost bet your house on that scenario eventuating.

Let’s not forget the only decent academy prospects we did have in Simpkin and Ratugolea were not available in that first year of academies.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Giants took 92 marks for 20 inside 50s in a half. No wonder why they are 0-11 against the top 8 teams and sit 16th on the ladder

The Dogs looked cooked, a team wanting the season to end. I'd be filthy if my mob, fighting for a finals spot turned up like this against a bottom side.

Still think there will be major changes at the Dogs come years end. Maybe it's Josh Dunkley to Port. Maybe it's Naughton asking to get out but something is brewing.

BUMMER!! VFL Tige's to miss finals after Gold Coast knocked off 2nd placed Southport Sharks☹, far from ideal.
**Edit: can still make it and displace Carlton if they lose their last 2 games.
