Round 2: The garlic Uber ride games.

What’s Salty’s excuse this week? Billy Joel play at the MCG on Tuesday? Game should have been at Geelong even though it wasn’t their home game? Joel Selwood was out? Tom Stewart didn’t play so it’s not fair they should have just given them the 4 points?

Eat a bag of em Salty!

Funniest thing is that they are way, way behind development with that *smile* hole. No home ground excuses now Pricky.

Jeremy Cameron spent all of the last quarter looking at the big screen to see if they noticed how brave he was for staying out there.
according to Jabba Watson just then he's the best player in the league. Geez AOD 9604 scrambles your brain

Not sure what to read into that result. Are Carlton any good? Is Geelong underdone?

Regardless we missed an opportunity last week.

Geelong is underdone and undermanned missing 5 of their best side including 3 of their defenders and 2 first team mids.

Carlton are an up and coming side who also dont have their best side on the park. Their forwards getting an armchair ride from the umps helps them no end.

By round 8-9 we'll have a better idea.

I'd much rather the Tigers flog them at full strength.

I'd be very happy for the Cats to take the fall this year but I'd be even happier if the Tigers first get to punch their lights out in 23 GF before kicking their arses "This Is Sparta " style off of the G in front of 100,000.

Only watched the last 15 minutes, Carlton looked like they weren't trying to win, just avoiding a loss. They should have attacked more. Something they need to learn.

One of the worst bits of play was Saad asking for the ball in the backline and then kicking it straight to a Geelong player. Really? You needed to waste time or pick your way forward, not just go for a long kick to nowhere in particular.

Geelong sure have an easy next 3 games, such a pity and a bit rich given they just won the flag. Reigning premiers given 4 out of 5 of their first games against teams which missed the finals the previous year, is that common? I wouldn't think so. You can't write them off, they are a good team, but that draw seems ridiculous.

Now that the Cats lost to Carlton without Sam Walsh, I guess they’re not top 4?

This game serves to remind me of the breadth and depth of my hatred for Geelong.

I'll be barracking quite hard for Carlton.

I think the wallpaper splits for the cats tonight.

Blues by 11 pts
Good call ezt. Cats are done. Finished. That was an awful game, and cats were lucky to be that close. They may not make the 8. Dangerfield is done.

FFS Zack Guthrie was almost their best player.

Lay of the year cats for flag. Should be $14
