Umpires seemed to have picked every single incorrect disposal of the ball in front of goal for Adelaide today. Did something happen for them to be red hot on this today?

with the geelong sooks Scott, Clangerfield and Duckwood whining about going back to 20 minute quarters, I wonder if they realise yet they have to play 22 games again this year?

Watching the Sydney game, they are super quick. Their kids are terrific. They'll give us a bit of trouble next week with their speed and ball use coming out of their defensive half.

Also watching it, I ask again, what the *smile* were North doing when they passed on McDonald??

I agree. Playing well. Occaisionally overuse it but are careful and have lots of good kicks. Move it quick when they want.

Seems like Adelaide miss the heat on this.

They were always going to take Thilthorpe. Its more a point about taking a top line tall forward when he's there staring you in the face, you don't then draft a mid. Those top line forwards are what win you premierships.

Sydney got a couple of rippers in Gulden and Campbell too. I loved Jonathan Browns comments on Gulden, apparently played against 1 of Craig Lamberst kids when he was 13, and just said to them "welcome to the errol gulden show", went on to have 40 touches and kicked 4 goals.

His head throwing back on The wing was ridiculous. What odds of a staging charge.
And it influences his teammates. Note Miers doing the same thing when tackled in the last and inciting the crowd into a booing frenzy on the umpire. The replay showed the initial contact about 2/3 up the back and going lower. BT made a point of saying it was clearly not a free. I'm sure that sort of crowd reaction has an impact on the umpires.

Not only are the cats the biggest suckhole team in the AFL their fans may be the worst as well.

I am enjoying seeing Tex Walker play well. Obviously a shadow of his younger self but his skills seem to be standing out more as a result of the rule changes.

NSW Academy are doing well
This shitt needs to stop.
They brought in a draft 87 to stop this crap.
And it seems clubs are picking up kids like its 1983.
Quaymoor, why wasn't he in the draft?
YougoHagan, how the *smile* did Footscary pick him up?
60% of Sydney's team is from another *smile* academy.
Its fine they can all learn to play in an academy but when it comes to the draft, every club should have an opportunity to draft them.
Heeney, Campbell, number 21, the dud Blakey, Morwood all from the Sydney Academy.
