Round 2 Collingwood

They're aren't in our league.
Tonight's game reminds me of when would play Essendon in the late 90's early 2000's.
The games were over by the 20 minute mark of the first qtr.
It will be nice to just wipe them out for this year. Im over that they have been challenging for 3 years.
There challenging has been no better then Geelong's and Brisbane's efforts.

Excellent. Hopefully bit of due on the ground to suit our move forward at all costs game. I think they would like it perfect conditions as they like to play a slower keep it off us game to prevent our chaos style.

A bit of Stewie Dew??
Wouldn’t mind a bit of Sam Frost too.
All we need is some David Hail and they won’t want to come out of the change rooms.

Just want to beat them nothing more nothing less.
If we can belt them though that’d be great

The way the media have been pumping up the Pies tires has got me nervous. Everything really does point to us giving them an old fashioned kicking, but it’s *smile* Collingwood.

Real cold wind currently by 7.50 tonight it could go as low as 6 or 7.
These are the conditions we play our best.
Slippery when wet. Sidebottom doesn't want to play...tooo cold.

Although its round 2 , its easy to forget we are heading straight into the shitty part of winter ,

the pretty boy teams may not like it,

Could be a blessing in disguise for us

ok ... I have 3 months wort.. here we go.

"its a big game, massive 4 points"
"up against another genuine contender"
"this will be won and lost at match committee"
"we need to be switch on from the start"
"straight kicking wins games"
"we need to play our game whilst respecting the opposition"
"we control what we can within these 4 walls"
"if we follow our process, that should hold us in good stead"
"we did ok, we have a few areas we need to work on, we can get better"
"with only 17 rounds, almost evey game is a 8 point game"
"% is going to be vital in 2020, build on what we got, can ill afford to loose large chunks of %"
"when is Alex coming back :p"

There.. .several weeks all our in one blurb.

Go Tigers and have a fun night all in front of the telly.

How terrifying is the half forward line?

Shai, Edwards and Castagna. Who is every going to catch a single one of them???

We have come so far from the olden days (how often do you get to use the Dative tense in English?).

Edwards the towering CHF and Vlastuin the CHB.

Last thing to Note. Reiwoldt, Lynch, Martin. Wow.

So many years of Shulz, Plapp and the cardboard cut-outs!

Come along way since Ben Nason was meant to be the answer to our small forward prayers :))

This is one of the most talented Richmond sides ever named. Love the fact Higlet is in. Only Rance could make it better. Sorry Nank.

Two schools of thought, craggles:
1. Of course. CJ is a big talent and Nank is an undersized workhorse.
2. Rucks are overrated and what if we could wrangle a top-3 pick from the Cows in a CJ trade and get the next Cotch (the next Dusty ain't been born).

I call School of thought No2.

The Grant Thomas school of thought.

so in that sense, you could call it either

the finals football suicide school of thought

or the acute, multi-generational heartbreak underachievement school of thought

Midfield pressure, chaos into the F50, lock it in, multiple entries.

Pressure, pressure, pressure.

You could call it the Paul Salmon is Hawthorn's Team of the Century ruckman and he played there five years when they were shitt and without him they've won a quarter of all flags in the last 50 years school of thought.
