Round 2 Collingwood

I'm really surprised we haven't played Nankervis.

Be very interesting to see how we approach it.

I'll guarantee two things though, Lynch won't attend a centre bounce and Nankervis's manager will be fielding a lot of phone calls in the next few days.
Seems we felt Carlton benefited from losing Kreuzer in R1. Shorter quarters means the second ruck is barely required and will otherwise be wasting on the bench.

No doubt there will be some interest in Nank. Even with quarters going back to normal next year, with Soldo taking the #1 spot, CJ looking for a gig, and Chol and Balta capable of playing #2, Nank might get squeezed out. Or we trade CJ for a prime draft pick.

I reckon we'd trade Nank before CCJ.

Just to spite the Kochies for their VicBias, Boolsheeet and to just twist the now rusted knife that is still embedded deeply in the Crows.

Two schools of thought, craggles:
1. Of course. CJ is a big talent and Nank is an undersized workhorse.
2. Rucks are overrated and what if we could wrangle a top-3 pick from the Cows in a CJ trade and get the next Cotch (the next Dusty ain't been born).

Very true Spooker very true.

CJ just has a fair few years of quality to bring to the RFC, same as Noah.

These 2 lads are keys for the future I'd be hanging onto them both, they both have big upside.

I wouldn’t send Nank to Adelaide under any circumstances. If he does go happy to see him go to a team of his choice, which won’t be Adelaide.
Maybe Carlton or the Dogs, and a future 1st maybe possible?

It was CJ to Adelaide, all hypothetical, momentum. Nank seems a perfect fit for GWS to me. If we could work it to get young Green, bazoom.

Poor Nank. His body is still warm and we have already discarded him like a cheap suit.

Yep not without a chance of being a distinct possibility.

They are a side that I think would look at him along with a couple of others.

Well said Ace! I won't be writing off Nank.

Geez we are going ok as a footy club if this is how we discuss our 2 time premiership ruckman...

I thought Graham might be the one to take a break but looks like Caddy might have been the unlucky one.
The team is definitely looking to get faster with these shorter quarters. Nank & Caddy unlucky but it's the right move.
Pies are a very fast team.

I think CJ will get his opportunities this year. Jack isn't getting any younger.
A forward who can ruck has value.

Caddy with calf soreness so a no brainer not risking him and not dropped for team balance

I'd like to see what we could get done with Gee Wizz for Tom Green with if we offer a pick and The Great Nankervis

Caddy is one of the leagues most under rated players. He has been a very good player in the best team for 3 years now
and an utterly proven finals performer.
