Nobody can tell me that a side with Yeo, Gaff, Darling, Shuey, Duggan, Allen, Barrass, Sheed, Kelly and a smattering of decent first rounders like Ginbey, Chesser and Hewett, should be playing like this every week.
How Simpson is still there is beyond belief.
Not saying they should be a top 6 team or anything but someone like Hooch Hardwick would make a 100% improvement overnight with this group.
Right now they are a disgrace.

Those players along with NicNat and Gov are chewing up about half your salary cap right there. They're just getting nothing from them.
Them, and others, have been applying next to zero pressure the last 2+ years. Forget the injury excuse - the players they have been throwing out there have been capable of far better performances but they simply haven’t been trying hard enough.
Pressure, intensity, call it what you will, isn’t a skill or a talent. It’s an attitude. And for a long time the WCE attitude has been very poor. And that links back to the coach big time imo.
No real scrutiny on WCE or Simpson.
There is an acceptance of their performances.
A lot of players getting a comfy $ with no pride.
Just a get out card based on injuries.
