Footscary were running on the spot for 2 qtrs and they only beat them by 10 points.
Don't use Footscary as a measuring stick.

We seem to be coming good at the right time but really we should be on top right now. The Scumwood and Giants games are costly. That said we seem to be better timing our run late.
They will make it hard for us if Salty goes for an uber flood. We’re better but we struggle with the flood.

I agree, but i wouldn't be complacent about it. We have looked far worse against much shitter teams this year as well. The teams that have flooded us have been able to cause us a lot if problems & the Cats are by far the best team we will play going with that style. Without Astbury, Hawkins could get off the leash. Last years Prelim their style did shut us down and caused us to make errors up until the second half. I also think their hate for us will be deeply personal at this stage.
Our best beats everyone - but when teams make us play below that, we have not always worked our way through that well. Last nights performance will only underline the fact there is only 1 way to beat us - ugly, flooding footy. The Eagles tried to go toe to toe with us and we blew them away
Sure but far from the only spud: Bruce is collecting his $$ as a fraudster - he was better at the Aints. Even when he grabs a rare mark, he misses easy goals. He's a ball-buster.
Macrae ordinary if not getting easy kicks out the back or running free into space - gave Rohan the clincher goal. How much damage do all his possies ever do if you put some pressure on him?
Very average - Mclean, Dickson (4Ds, delist material last year) , Wallis (just play a bigger, stronger defender on him, comes back to ordinary. Had a chance to goal late from 5m and kicked it into Bont!).
Several of their defenders average too. Young Hayes was good though.

Big news is the Moggs struggled although Dogs had 2 left on the bench. We came out and belted this team from the outset. Moggs battled to get over them with an almost full team.
I actually thought they were far better than this.
