Round 12: the work meeting games.

Wouldn't particularly care usually, but so nauseated by the Colonwood love-in from the AFL, the media and the umpiring department. Even at the half-time break Ch.7 went with old footage of when Mr. Bean visited Colonwood centre back when Bucks was the coach !!

Another poster told us Fox coverage featured their commentary crew lauding Nick darling for throwing the ball out in front like KB. Just see the print media - especially the sycophantic Hun most days.
Like I said, nauseating.

Rapt they can no longer win the close ones - and so are my footy tips! But full credit to them - their performance with almost as many injuries as we have, is a real credit to them. [Gees, see us against the Doggies - just awful; dominated]
Agree. Totally sickening. I can't even watch a full game of theirs and just tune in when they're losing.

Stuck at home with COVID, so I watched the full game... And I was shocked at how much Nick Daicos gets an armchair ride from the maggots.

He's a great player, undoubtedly, but it's sickening. I wanted to vomit.

They also have Croft waiting in the wings.
Sure, it's ridiculous. Because total overload with KPFs ... and, of course, none of them want to go and play back, which is what the team actually needs, like Naughton especially. JUG is loaded with talent but pretty soft and unreliable at present.
Darcy would become next No.1 ruck if English gets too good an offer from WA. Would probably be the best thing for the club but doubt they can see it that clearly. Croft will probably have to go back otherwise, not that they're going to tell him.
But it was really noticeable to me how, as even BT and Richo were pointing out, their surfeit of KPFs fly against each other, none stay down even if West is not there for crumbs. Often, players upfield cannot see a target because they don't spread and separate but prop in a cluster making it much easierb for the defendrs to stay in a clump and spoil them easily.

Thought the other guy who stood out tonight was O'Donnell down back. But has any team ever been blessed with so many strong talls? Why on earth did they grab Lobb?

But, will it get them a flag still? Not on current form. Jury is out. Game plan must improve, significantly.

The Bont's highlights from this game are delicious. Absolute gun.

Every time Nick gets the ball the umps are  eyed by the time they wake up to it the ball has moved on too late for free against

Now clubs can start copping what we have copped all year. Playing without 5-6 of your best players.
Collingwood are missing Penderbury Degoey Elliott Mitchell McStay Milocheck and they looked rubbish after half time.
There's always a tipping point where the kids just can't do what these quality players do on a consistent level.
Our Tipping point was QTR time against WC and watching last night's game 3 qtr time was Collingwoods tipping point regardless how good Little Dacios was, he had no influence in the last qtr when Bompmytelly tool over and rammed up the clacker.
That was the worse I've seen Collingwood play since the day we slapped in 2022.
Brtyel O'Sullivan Creerey Markov Frampton
Johnson Noble was all not up to the level.
All rubbish.

Something like 150 players injured across the league. Really is a game of Russian roulette atm. Which team can dodge the injury bullet long enough to win the flag?

Still time, but If Adelaide lose this, questions will start to come on Nicks. I don’t rate him.

Dorks building now. I can't wait til we get to that synergy level again as we did in 2017.

Umps over in WA mustn’t have got the memo not willing to pay HTB when player has one arm free just calling for ball up

Hawks were great to watch end of last year. They took some time to get started in 2024. I think they're on the right track.

I was one that didn't want Ginni. He'd certainly be handy and proved me wrong.
