Round 1 - Where The Umpires Arent Cheating Pricks

Great even performance by the Swannies.
Impressed by the second-tier of lesser known players who have stepped up, like Jordan, Warner, Amartey, Rowbottom.

Am not convinced the Pies will make the great comeback. You take the premiership but I thought they were extremely lucky last year to win. They won 9 games by 12 points or less, only lost 1 by 12 or less. Already 2 wins down on last year and could easily be 2 and 4 after 6. Both Swans and Giants have shown them out and their final margins were flattering to Pies. They were comprehensively beaten.

Edit: They are also the oldest side of the round 27yrs 10months. We were 3rd oldest 27yrs 2months.

Sydney's style reminded me so much of Richmond in the premiership era.
Causing the crucial turnover across half-back, rebounding then running at full pace to an open forward line.
What a quick recovery from 2020.
They were gutter shiit. In a space of 4 yrs the have played in a GF and have 6 quality kids.

What's more laughable is how they use their real 80's rivalry every time they meet nowadays. No where near to what it really was then.

I've seen snippets of both Collingwood games, and it may because it's early in the year, but Pendlebury looks like it's catching up with him.
Made a couple of really glaring skill errors last night.

You can count Essendon and Hawthorn out of the finals.
We should be beating both of them.
Not sure why Essendon's number 1 pick McGrath escapes any criticism.
Because he makes Anthony Banik look like Peter Matera.
He wouldn't be picked in the top 50 if the draft was redone today.

Dodoro we need a fast athletic ball winning midfielder.
So he chose a fat, stumpy, slow, back pocket

Collingwood gave up 2 1sr rounders for Shultz. (He isn't as good as the media made him out to be) and Collingwood off loaded Ginnivan.
Ginnivan is BOG.
Only Collingwood the dumb bastards.

The Hawks have kicked 4-10, they should be 6 goals up................plus I tipped them.
