Maggots will get the frees, Suns get the frees, Dees get the frees, Giants get the frees.

All these clubs play a similar style. Why do we always get left behind regardless of what style we play?

They’ll bounce back. Listening to Fly’s presser, he seems to have a grip on things now, whereas last week, maybe not.

Too many games at the G to not bounce back over the full course of the season.

Wow degoey gets caught, htb and they ball it up, umps have NFI

I think they have every idea, the way Collingwood are treated game after game is too consistent, they get the rub of the green too often for this to just be a coincidence.

I only watched the last quarter, and Sydney clearly backed off as the game was won. But a Sydney player got pushed in the back, no free. Not 5 seconds later same things happens to a Collingwood player . . . who gets a free and kicks a goal. A lot of the time umpires are reluctant to give a free in kicking distance of the goals, but not for Collingwood, no problem there, slightest little thing they get a free.

Collingwood plays for frees. Fly knows the umps will bite more often than not and it is a useful advantage over less favoured teams.

I’m an ump conspiracy moderate but I think I’m starting to turn. The quality of umpiring is deplorable.

Paying a free kick based on seeing the actual offence occur is a pretty simple concept, I would have thought.

Guessing, assuming and postulating are not valid forms of decision making when four sets of eyes are available.

We are just the worst kicking team. We’re appalling. We got away with much of it via a game plan that accounted for it, but now that game plan is redundant, we’re stranded on Gilligan’s Island.

As much as Pickett, Macca and several others go in and win their own ball they turn it over more times than not.
So costly in this day and age of fast transitional football that requires good skills.
