I was being mischievous before but you have to give it to Gary Rohan.
Every man and his dog hanging *smile* on him and telling him he is a joke in finals and he comes out and plays a huge game and gives his team a really good look at a premiership. That takes character. And talent.

Reckon that was the best result to have neither of these teams in the GF.
Had the Pies won, they probably play Melbourne in the prelim and they constantly find a way to beat Melbourne. This way the Pies will need to go to the SCG in the prelim.
Also think Geelong will struggle against Melbourne.
The main thing for us is that neither Geelong or Collingwood make the GF and this was the best result to hopefully see that happen.

Bloody hell Collingwood are such an intense, hateful bunch of of fans.
The amount of middle fingers from fans pulling themselves into bodily and facial contortions of incensed hatefulness, while firing bile from their mouths when goals are scored against them. We all have fans like that at every club. Tiges have their fare share. But scum Collingwood just on another level of hateful mean spiritedness.

There's a lot of luck in footy but I'm not sure kicking three goals and setting up another couple in a big final counts as that.
Another night of fights at the G for sure. Streets are safe until these ferals arrive back to the suburbs.
In close games, much of the result comes down to luck. Collingwood have been incredibly lucky for about 10 weeks until now. Can see them coming back to the pack a bit next season.
