It sure did, that was next level.I’ve said all year the Swans were a threat. Tonight proved it.

Yep premiership pressure.I’ve said all year the Swans were a threat. Tonight proved it.
Somebody wake me when Richmond has half the forward nous of Melbourne. Expect I'll be asleep for a while.
Swans beat the Dees at the G regularlyMore impressive is they beat them twice at the G now.
You know you’re an arse stain of a club when you overthrow the pies In the hate stakesNot a great fan of the Pies, by any stretch.
However, what Geelong did to Dion was inexcusable.
Took him out deliberately, early on in the game, in a sector of the ground with fewer cameras.
Year of the Swannies, no one will care anyway.
If the Cats lose, then they eventually have to play Sydney away.
Still the number one wood in any teams bag. Sadly after three flags we seem to have been sucked into the new n exciting game opening rule changes n left the big stick at home.Yep premiership pressure.
Longmire most underrated coach of all time. Gets the job done year after year with minimum fuss. Still has old school fear factor but has understanding of ‘new gen’ needs.*smile* I can't stand longmire.
Sydney Academy my ass.
Players like Mills & Heeney shouldve been in the draft.
I reckon they are shitt, they played a side they have the wood over.
If Geelong played Sydney in a GF it might match the 2007 GF
I thought this game was the easiest to pick. Most underrated stat in football is RECENT FORM v oppo.Melbourne are very good and this game always looked the hardest to pick. What I like about this result is that it means Geelong need to either get past Melbourne or Sydney in a PF. Melbourne will easily account for Brissie, Brissie are just not that good. I reckon Melbourne are capable of beating Geelong and I would love to see them thrown out in a PF . . . although I am willing to see them out in straight sets.
But Sydney, when they turn on the pressure they are very hard to beat, and pressure is precisely what wins finals and is effective against Geelong.
The skills in that game are a lesson for Richmond. That level is something we need to be a lot closer to. Just can't get away with the fluffed kicks and handpasses against these teams. The fact we were ahead of Sydney and should have won that match shows we can be more competitive. Plus the fact that both teams could execute under pressure is something we need to be a lot better at.
