Robbie Tarrant

Excellent performance, and completely robbed of a great goal by another joke of a decision.

Saved the game in the last with clean marks and kicks….absolutely took the last breathe out of the bombers sails. You could physically see their heads drop with each intercept

Mansplained Two Metre Petra off the park.

What is it with these red-headed step-children Petra and Francis? Are they sisters? At least in cheap shot bitchery?

Francis. By god. If it were a Tiger its thread would dwarf Tambling's. Is it a footballer? (Not an AFL one.) Pick 6. ROFL.

Another example of the Pick #6 curse.

Tarrant has always been a very good footballer. I think people have been quick to jump on his form which is probably a little unfair considering his transition from norths system into ours. On top of that - until last night he hadnt really played with the full complement around him back there. Makes it interesting when Balta is fit again. Beaten McKay and Wright which shows his capabilities.

yep, written off much too early.

gives us the possibilty of swinging Balta forward as cover for Jack or Lynch.

North had a system, who'd have thought that?

Yeh he’s less than a cat is Francis. Hope he’s on a long term contract at the bombers

Interesting that not long into resuming his senior career he was set up for a confidence boosting goal. We're good like that. And we all know it was a goal.

Very good player who played a very good game. I hope he is getting over his injury and we see plenty more games like this over the next 2 years.

Understanding our system and a "hip" complaint many have been the public explanation. IMO you have a very experienced defender who came into a club that has set incredible standards since 2017. Reputation and experience would make an instant impact in our defence, that did not happen.

I think there is a level of expectation, urgency, commitment, application that will lead to a much better output. He know if he plays under expected from him, Dimma is happy to throw in a 1st gamer (Biggie) or <10 gamer (Miller) in his spot. He has to realise that Balta will soon(ish) be back and knock on wood, our other key backs stay injury free, he must keep performing well. I can see Gibcus having 1 or 2 more managed spells but the young tall back certainly deserves his spot in the 22.

Competition for spots is probably a new thing for Robbie (without being too disrespectful of North) - this can only be a good thing for RFC.

Can anyone pick Robbie up from Tullamarine and drop him back off at Arden St?
