Richmond vs Hawks in Tassie

Lynch hasn’t improved over the summer. Cant even half a contest.

Woeful last qtr from the whole team. Very disappointing. Been pantsed
Going through the motions. Cue was in the rack.
I don’t really like it but the intensity dropped right off

Lol. Best you watch the game again. Was moved around in the last qtr and that was mainly due to Soldo being sore.

‘Lol’ I watched all the game. He was in the ruck in the first half. Back to your cave troll.

Lynch, Riewoldt and a resting ruckman in the fwd line is not going to be a good mix. Ball will be pinballing straight back out.

Like i said. Was moved onced Soldo went off injured or else he would have remained fwd. Have another watch just to be certain ;)

He was on the ball before Soldo went off. Keep going though, it's amusing.

Please tell me Aarts isnt in our best 22. Absolute battler. Need to purge these types. Add Castagna to that list. Balata fwd is an absolute waste. Needs to be led to the contest. Scrap it immediately and make him a utility around the ground
Agree on Aarts but Balta wasn’t to bad. 19 disposals, 7 marks and 3.1 isn’t to bad at all. And he wasn’t just stuck fwd.

It’s a practice game and 7 goals up. Nothing to play for. Happens all the time. Players quickly start thinking about Round 1.

After watching that game, my conclusion is we will beat the shiit sides comfortably but poor disposal, missed forward entires and the umpires will stop us from winning another flag....

Im not bagging Balta. I just think he will be wasted in the fwd line as he is a player that needs to be led to the contest. He looks best when he moves around the ground or coming out of the backline. Anyway, hope im wrong and he becomes Carey

Agree to disagree. Lets see how they play him during the season and then we can come revisit

Ah yes, the old 'agree to disagree'. Translation = I've been called, am wrong and need to save face.

Mind you, I think Noah is better suited down back, but I know a lot less than the coaches. Either way, he was very good today.

Tend to agree. Still a season or 2 needed to bring in quality disposal and Dimma looks like he'll stick with the Aarts and Castagna's

Call as it you like.

I never bagged Balta. My point was exactly what you just said so not sure why you are arguing. Hes not a fwd and i think will struggle to have an impact as opposed to down back or completely on the ball

The midfield balance still intrigues me. The lack of Graham and Lambert means there's a couple of spots to rotate through. Baker looks to have taken one, and the other still looks open. Our top 5 inside mids should be Martin, Cotchin and Prestia, with then Bolton and Baker rotating through. Ross gets the first crack at the last spot?

You said he only played on the ball when Soldo went off. Which is incorrect. Further, you wanted him around the ball which he also was.
