Richmond Membership Tally 2018

I reckon we will be announcing on Thursday (exactly 1 month before our Round 1 match) that we have smashed our previous record membership figure of 75,777.

If the RFC had a dynasty like the Hawks or Cats, the result would be absolutely huge in regard to Tigers everywhere an entire new generation of supporters would flock to the Tigers.

The hoards of Hawks fans everywhere over the past 10 years would absolutely pale compred to what the Tigers would do.

The RFC would own this town and to a certain extent ................... the AFL commission ;D

Very good jump from last week, keep up this pace of 1500-2000 member sign ups a week and we’ll surpass 80K by round 1, with an overall target reach expected to be around 85-90K
That would be phenomenal
:clap

Very Optimistic Astute, i'm still sticking with my December estimation of 81,033, 2018 year end. We should do a nearest the pin competition for bragging rights.

I personally believe we will announce 80K by round 1 if not earlier. (we are only 4K off 80K with 4 weeks remaining) 85K imo a definite by seasons end, i think though we'll just fall short of 90K

That I would luv to happen but I can’t see 85K by RD 1, you are not taking into account the majority of people that normally buy their memberships early on in the season probably have already done so!
Of course we will keep selling memberships every day but It won’t be the crazy daily jumps leading up to round one and there after because many have already signed up...

Ok i'm in. 86,329

A memory jumped into my mind that hasn't for years. Contrast the ways of today to acquire membership tickets with early 80s. One season our scout group did a fundraiser selling Fitzroy membership in front of the gates at Waverley at an early season game. A big pile of the old cardboard type tickets, cash only, trestle table. Can't even remember if the buyers name was recorded.
