Ordered several days ago. arrived in the mail yesterday from JBhifi. Already checkmated the fame with Triple M commentary... Ricciuto in the team... priceless although he was not as whingy as I though we would be and gave us credit as we peeled away from them.

Might have been because I shuffled the Blu-Ray forward but 2nd half became a little irritating as the radio commentary was about 2 seconds after the current play. It also has SEN and 3AW calls , so a few more weekend views to go.

If you can get a copy of the 5AA commentary, do so.

Hearing Mark Bickley's pleading as the game went on is priceless.

Same. The great thing is, it's very enjoyable reminding myself with replays, etc.
 
Also got the bluray last week and watched it with AW ... MMM and SEN to go. Was listening to 774 at the ground so I have it covered.

AW was also about 2-3 secs behind the play on bluray. Annoying.

Still loved the game.
 
Why is the commentary behind? Can't they fix it up? Easy fix I would have thought.
 
Harry .. wish I knew, sloppiness and poor attention to detail for the sound engineers that produced it. I was hoping it was just the first qtr, but they got all 4 messed up.

It’s like watching a movie with lip sync just out - incredibly distracting.

Easy to do, just like watching the old spaghetti westerns or Shintaro the samurai show. Bloody amazing with all the technology n *smile* going on nowadays that they still can't get a bit of lip synch worked out n match the commentary to the action.
 
Anyone know where I can get a copy of the prelim and elimination finals?? I already the GF but forgot to record the other two finals games on my pvr. Am dying to watch the Geelong game again, especially the second half demolition!

Thats the grand final only though isn't it, that 5 DVD pack that was in the link contains all finals and season highlights. I can't see a blu ray version on their website.

I ordered the pack on blue ray Ian, it was over the phone so hopefully not a balls up, but definitely blue ray pack $90

Yeah I want the blue ray version of all finals games, don't wanna commit to the DVD if the HD versions come out later. Unless that's their plan, to try and get us to buy both?

I'll try and visit jbhi on the 5 disc pack, and see for myself and report back.

I emailed the DVD company CC and they specifically said they wouldn't be releasing a blu ray version. That $90 price sounds like the price of the DVD one, I think they've stuffed you up
