Really sick to death of the opposition goals from free kicks

I'm watching the game from about an hour behind, very noticeable in the first half Melbourne are running the Chris Scott ruck play where they are happy to have the ruckman drift to key back to allow the plus one to be an intercept marker in May or Lever.

Then Gawn's tank allows him to work forward while Grundy covers deep.

It's going to take a bit of work and personnel to deal with that.

The opposition's defence has too much time to setup

We're moving the ball slower and less chaotic than usual in this game
 
Geez, Lynch and Jack will kick 100 goals this year if we get paid what the Dees have got all day

We obviously cant hit targets going inside 50 so lets give it air to atleast make a contest. We have pinpointed Dees defenders all day
 
Geez the way Gerard Healy and Nick Dal Santo are going on, everyone else may as well go home. GoDeez for the flag and Grundy and Gawn will share the Coleman.
 
Hope its just practice match effort but Dees looked a different class to us today

I hate the Dees but they have a good team atm. Definitely be up there

How can they get a 50m penalty in our goal square and we can’t even set up and they walk it down for a mark 25m out!? Sums up our defence today- a shambles!
