Good work gus. I've been to two of these fan nights recently. I recommend them to anyone who's interested.

Yep and at least one other Tiger forum I know had invites on it as well but not here this time for some reason.

These other fan forums raise any money for the club this year?

Invited all the sycophants, did we?

Did they sit down and all pat each other on the back how they stuffed up Season 2011?

Oi !! How about the Members seeing a Home game once in while?

Oops.....we do get to see a Home Game......once in while!!! ::)

Mr.RFC......go spend some of my Members money AND Fighting Fund money on employing someone to SOLELY look after FIXTURING.....cause no-one at the club has a freaking idea.

Is everything still a conspiracy with some people?

Yep, we only invited people who were going to tell us how awesome we were. What kind of crazy world do you live in? And we don't make the fixture.

Don’t worry about Scribblar's rantings, he is the resident loon.

Must admit, I'm a bit surprised by this type of reaction.

Why? Not that I am one of them but to extend a invite to those who have gone above and beyond seems like solid business move.

I posted it on BF, OER found it themselves and I forgot to post it here. I also posted it on Twitter which is an open invite to anyone, I'm surprised no-one found it that way.

PRE does a lot for us, and this year I think we've done a lot for PRE. I forgot to post it here once and people are jumping all over me.

I don't think anyone is jumping all over you RFC Official, if you ignore Scribblar. Most of us do.

I think its a great initiative and a few people were wondering why none of us heard about it. i certainly accept you saying it was an oversight on your part and I know others from here have been before and highly recommended the evening.

The RFC has significantly lifted its efforts in communicating with its supporters via the social media this year and are to be commended for it, but there's always room for improvement, but its great to see you on here posting updates and responses to members/supporters questions.

Keep up the good word,

Yeah, the club has done a really good job with social media this year.

If it is a mistake that's fine, that happens but don't be shocked that people are slightly peeved.

But at the same time, the club has had made massive strides in imporving it's communication.

A farmer married his long time sweetheart and they got into their horse and cart to go back home from the church

On the way the horse just stopped, the farmer got out and stood in front of the horse, looked at it in the eyes and said 'that's once' and got back in the cart
The wife was perplexed but said nothing as this was a beautiful day and they continued.
A bit later the horse stopped again and the farmer got out of the cart and stared at the horse and said 'that's twice'
Again the wife looked puzzled but then remembered the love in her husbands eyes when he said 'i do' and brushed it aside as they continued
For a third time the horse stopped with no explanation and the farmer got out and said 'that's three times' then went to the back of the cart pulled out a rifle and shot the horse.
After overcoming her initial shock the wife started going off at the farmer ripping into him for not having more patience and killing a perfectly good horse
The farmer turned to her, looked at her in the eyes and said 'that's once'

RFC_O 'that's once' ;D

I must admit I don't use or follow twitter, I haven't got to that stage of technology yet... :-[

I love the forum evenings and would pay to go, I had better get knowing how to use/check out this twitter thing...

I also posted it on Twitter and . Didnt forget PRE on purpose.

Was surprised you hadn't posted it here but forgetting to seems a reasonable explanation.
I think it's excellent that the club extends these invitations to supporter groups to have some say & insight on how things are travelling internally.
Long may it continue.

I thought it was posted here, obviously I read it on Twitter.

Over all the club has lifted its game in terms of social media, online multimedia and keeping the fans in the loop this year well done RFC! Now lets see the same kind of improvements on the field.

RFC Official.. For future reference.. don't get defensive when you have obviously stuffed up.. it doesn't do you any favours. Just apologise and leave it at that.

I assume you get paid by the club to run their social media? If this is the case, you need to go on some communications training.

If on the other hand you are a volunteer, I apologise, ignore all of the above.

Ha, sorry to let you know I'm paid.
