We had one , he was called Jack Riewoldt. Richo retired in 2009 when Jack was 20

Unlucky can explain a few things but eventually just have to say a bloke isn't built for elite contact sport. No one now would say Griffiths is merely unlucky.

Lisfranc injuries generally take quite a bit of time I thought.........Craig?

I heard his injury described today as a sprain in the middle of the foot . Is that still a lisfranc

lisfranc is a fracture I think (eg bone) not a muscular injury, however no medical training here, just going off a bad memory from previous injuries.

I thought Trengove from Melbourne had a lisfranc?

Burge said he stays in the moonboot for 3 weeks and then the damage is further assessed. Don't think they have any idea yet how long it will take to recover.

Lisfranc is a ligament and a joint. This means it can be a strain or tear, dislocation or fracture. weeks out for Chestnut depending on the injury could be 6 or less, could be 12 or more.

Reckon you might be thinking navicular instead of lisfranc Harry. If you're talking about Trengove from the Dees, he's still playing, just in the magoos. He can't get a senior gig at the moment.

Hopefuly it's not torn. I tore a small ligament in my hand thats operationally similar to this ligament and it took 9 months to recover. It's a very techinical operation because such a small ligament.

We have really missed him in the backline since injured. Was providing great defensive pressure and run for us.
The 3 players who had to improve this year for us to I,prove. Conca injured. Vlastuin average form and then out injured and BEllis gone backwards. Therein lies the problem. No second tier
