R18 VFL - Scumwood v Richmond

The players still haven't learn how to play wet weather football after playing Williamstown last week.
We continue to have this fumbling problem whereas other teams control the ball better, wet or not wet.

Our movement out of the back half has been really poor since losing Smith to the AFL side. I'd like to see Morris make a move, maybe moving someone like Pickett there, or even swinging Yassine down back

Haven't played well but still within 16 points kind of shows that Collingwood are crap.

Swing a few magnets around Morro and we can still change this up. Not sure how low their minutes are being managed, but I've barely seen Pickett, seen MRJ a little bit more.

Lazy football. Kick anywhere.
Yep crap decision making scrubbing skills and a few plodding efforts and dumb efforts from Sonsie and others turned the momentum against 5he Tigers pretty much handed the Skunks every score that quarter.

Hung off it a lot that quarter Jagga. No real impact in the 2nd.

Team has been terrible.
Yet Smith still still more productive or active than Sonsie who has been an AFL player for 3 odd years.

Sonsie is floundering, plods at vfl level no intent not to mention giving up a reversal of a free kick during a rare forward attack.

This is what happens when duds from AFL are dropped back. Sonsie, McCauliffe, MRJ, Cumberland no leadership or attack at the ball, fumbles and bumbles disrupting the cohesion we have seen in the VFL. Jagga "hanging off" because we supposed to have the "better" afl players in close. Put Wilson, Jagga and Garner on ball and hide the others.
Pardon the rant the conditions are no help but we are not playing to the slippery conditions. Still likely to win.

Morro’s hands are a bit tied with no rucks , however I’d rather see our best defender in Brindley stay back not ruck.

Yassine hasn’t looked anywhere near the player he was last season since coming back from injury .

If we hope any of our forwards are going to make it at the AFL level they have to be better then that.

Geez Wilson is a good footballer, just screams that not quite AFL tools imho

Yassine to me lack’s composure.

F.d if I know what position Coulthard is playing get him around the footy with Kane and Smith let’s get some hands on it.

Sonsie and Cumbo need to lift as AFL players and provide the effort and leadership expected of AFL players at this level of their years.

AFL players should be on the footy leading the team not playing support to VFL kids.

I knew he was gonna miss a sitter. Bloody hell this is frustrating.

This game has really highlighted Cumbo, does some really good things (his 1st goal was a ripper, really good mark there) but then you see his awful things (that miss, the OOTF in the 1st 20 seconds, frees given away etc). He has way to big a swing from his best to his worst for a player that has been in the system as long as he's been.
