For all the talk about Rohans performance, we should at least mention how abysmal the rest of them were.
Cuthrie, Duncan, Menegola were all pantsed. Utterly smashed. For a highly rated midfield they gave nothing.
Blicavs was well beaten, Henderson destroyed.

The whole team played like their season had finished last week

i don't hate Melbourne like some others, and it was a treat to watch them slaughter the Cants last night.
i enjoyed watching the Barwon Pensioners melt down and get desperate, appealing for everything - like they do.
Their forward line go AWOL, Midfield got lost, Backline destroyed..
Good Times !

I reckon Chris Scott will jump ship like his bro did,

and leave some poor up and comer to have a nervous breakdown with a dysfunctional list.

Cats are gonna bottom out soooooooo hard.

they dont even have anyone to trade, even if they wanted to have a fire-sale to try expedite the bottom out and rebuild.

its a footy grand canyon they fell off the edge of last night, with absolutely no parachute decent youth.

its gonna be a free fall wreck.

Scott will know it, and he'll jump ship, with his prelim visitation numbers on high repeat.

If a Richmond prelim win is 9/10 enjoyment factor for me, then that Geelong capitulation was 7/10.

I actually think Geelong played its game plan to puurrrfection

Selwood - duck / dive / hit someone / throw ball - tick
Hawkins - hit some one / push players in back - tick
Dangerflog - dive / *smile* to umpires - tick
Miers - dive / *smile* yourself / be a complete flog - tick
Rohan - no stats / require a long physio rub down - tick
Henderson - get destroyed - tick
Cameron - kick first goal, give us hope then do nothing (sound familiar) - tick
Bews - act tough but possess no skill - tick
Stanley - be the best player for the opposing side - almost

so all in all, bravo cats on a magnificent performance. I was impressed.

good summation.

They went out and sold the farm to bring in the Ultimate downhill skier in Jezza.

who will spend the rest of his career sooking and going the knuckle in a really *smile* side.

and I reckon these blokes would all know it.

I recon Jezza will end up ‘deserving a premiership’ like danger

Reckon Petracca is the 2nd best player in the league behind Dusty. Seems like a nice kid also. Dees got a superstar and probably deserved some luck with overlooking Dusty twice. Poor Saints what were they thinking?

I reckon if May doesn't play Port win.

I also think if Melbourne try and play May, Port win.

Essentially if Port get through tonight I think they win.
Ya reckon??
Got a feeling both Woofers n Pordadalayde would have been watching Smelbourne's game last night n there'd a been some cold sweats happening.
Always no guarantee of course, but if Smelbourne brings a handful of last nights game to the Granny, it'll take a monster effort to stop them.
