Preliminary Final Week 2021

I was told he will be the new Carlton coach, Just a rumour but you heard it here first.
So you're saying that SHocking's first task as new CEO will be to review his role and tenure .... then cut him loose?
Delicious!

Surely after a decade, and half their good players 30+ can see them parting ways. It might be a double, Cook & Scott
If he did go to Carlton, that game style will not stand up in finals. Carlton would've been better off with Ross Lyon.

Highlight came in 3rd qtr.
Selwoods 50 metrre paid against him.
"He dived! He *smile* dived" caught on the umpires microphone.
His voice breaking and the sheer frustration on his face was priceless.
Karma is a *smile* Capt Duckwood!!

Gee Priky's performance in the press conference must be good. Still not up on the website.

It’s not as good as waking up to reading about Richmond making a grand final but waking up to read about how Geelong got smoked in a prelim and must now realise they are *smile* and never going to win it with this group is fantastic.

It was like an Andrews presser. .... where he always says... " We'll have more to say about that later"!

Scott alluded to the fact (his) that more will be revealed at another time as to what they've endured to get this far.

I'm expecting they reveal that Dangerfield is recovering from open heart surgery...
Selwood has had to sleep with a neck brace on...
and Rohan has separated from his physio!

Loved those wankers getting smacked but bit frustrated the press now believe that Chaos footy is good to watch all of a sudden. Tigers Chaos is bad but Melb Chaos is good,,,,

Melbourne smashed geelong in the fwd line ground balls. This was a strength of ours in our premiership years but had dropped off this year. Hope we are looking at this area of our game to get that spark back. Butlers gone, riolis moved to defence george has lost his way, aarts is too slow. May need to bring in some new players or re invent some of our current ones. Regardless of rule change, fwd line pressure is still king in finals.

And centre clearances H, that gets the ball into the forward line quickly. Our game plan of it does not matter we will win it at the next contest has been nuked by the rule changes because ball tenure is primacy now.
We need to tweak our game plan to winning the centre clearances more and we are back in the game.

Expecting a Melbourne Man mantra soon which will be hailed as revolutionary

The Cats getting humiliated in the finals again has been the salve we needed for our poor season.

That said we've got some work ahead of us to get back up there.

Yep Melbourne have raised the bar. They play a ballistic game like us but have better ball users and extractors.
