PRE Phantom Draft 2013

Re: PRE Phantom Draft 2013?

Done. We have our selectors in place. 8-
Thanks for the interest and apologies to those who missed out this year.
Teams randomly selected on page one. Hope you got the team you wanted. ;D

Re: PRE Phantom Draft 2013?

Thanks ToO

I didn't realise you were going to randomly allocate the teams, so I appreciate you giving me West Coast.

Am aware of you interest in the West but it was pure luck of the draw mate.

Re: PRE Phantom Draft 2013?

Essendon hey... Suddenly I'm tempted to pick Fevola

Easy team to draft for Brodders.

Anyone is better than what they have.

yes. i am pondering whether to focus on fixing the crap midfield, their rubbish backline or their hopeless forwardline.
at least i dont have to worry about wasting an early pick on a ruckman.

Nahas would be a perfect fit for them at pick 26 ;D

Haha. The Dees - can't really stuff up there...anyone with 4 limbs and a heartbeat will improve our structure.

If there isn't a spot left, you can have mine tigs2010
Thanks mate. If you want to do the Swans you're more than welcome. I don't want to take someone's spot that's keen to do it. I've got a couple of others I'm doing anyway. Up to you?

Re: PRE Phantom Draft 2013?

If anyone is looking for an assistant or an adviser I should be able to assist. Just let me know.

Re: PRE Phantom Draft 2013?

Well Thanks guys - Wasnt really expecting pole position but will take it none the less ;D Good luck to everybody and make sure your not selecting my favourites lol
Now im not going to select the players that GWS would select - i will rather select who i believe they should select in the real draft according to my opinion of their list

GWS # 1 - Thomas Boyd KPF (as expected)

Even though gws is well positioned for kpf with the likes of Patton,Cameron,Jacksch,Tomlinson
Tom Boyd is just way too good a player to pass up and gives insurance against injuries aswell as the chance that 1 or maybe 2 may eventually decide to move back home or may not make it.

199cm 102 kg KPF with great hands and good kicking technique that is a true proffesional sportsman that has the will and determination to become a successfull afl footballer and will make it. Has the ability to play both CHF & FF with great confidence and is just about as a certainty as you could possibly get with tall's in the draft.

Very very confident with this selection both in my mind and knowledge that thats the way that GWS will go in the real deal.

Re: PRE Phantom Draft 2013?

GWS #2 - James Aish

In My opinion he is the Rolls Royce of this draft, Being a Tiger supporter he is the player that i would love at Tigerland more than any other in this draft - So makes sens that i select him as the number 2 selection based on both Talent and Future scope for improvement to elite status.
Fantastic user of the ball with the ability to control the tempo of the game at such a young age. His composure and ability to asses the situation and make the constant correct decision is superb and very very much in the cotchin,Pendlebury level.
Aish has great leadership qualities and a very mature head that has already shown by his year at sanfl level this year, In 2 years time with more fitness and AFL pre season in him , He will be a Dominant midfielder that will set up play as well as being able to become the finisher.

Boyd & Aish was always my #1 & #2 in this draft from a long way out.
