PRE Phantom Draft 2007.

Gourdis - Top 5 a bit high but I would have thought top 20. Leads hard and far and gets to the flanks quickly and by himself. Like Richo. Will take alot of uncontested marks. Reminds me of Hansen from the eagles also.

Seems a much harder worker than Schulz and Hughes and faster that Riewoldt.

Very surprised he didn't get picked up. Hope he impresses us at training.
 
There are a heap of whispers around about why Gourdis slid through.

I'd like to get a bit more info on that but for goodness sake's if he's any good I hope we take a punt.

At 18 years of age of age their wouldn't be too many kids who didn't have some sort of attitude problems.


As a PSD pick it is certainly worth gambling on.

If the precedent we're working with is Kingsley or Dylan McLaren, even if he doesn't play a game it will be worth the gamble.

The only pick i took that didnt get selected anywhere was Tom Rockliff but he was to young for the PSD and rookie draft. The other players i took were Myers, Ward, Grant and Hinkley all went in the top 25 in the ND.
