PRE Phantom Draft 2007.

Yeah, you don't hear Miller evo crying becasue he got an F.

Thats because Evo is happy with his kids. Between their lawn mowing abilities and their massive X-Factor, Miller...sorry Evo... believes he got a bunch of quality kids that will surprise RFC members.

Oh I also forgot that trade week had no impact on our picks, because the guys Evo wanted mid draft were still available for the late picks anyway, so he is very happy with the outcome.

Disappointed in the Burgers phantom draft.

Happy with the Cotchin and Collier but surely pick 51 will be used to get a ruck (and not Guy Richards)

Geez he has some pretty fancied players still available after dp 19.
Not a bad effort by Burger but Gourdis looks ridiculously low.

I would take Gourdis before Collier. No McGinnity in the draft, i would take him at 51 in a second, we might get a good player at 51 yet.

If Richards comes i will spew take Renton as last pick.

Agree. Like I have said all along this draft represnts a real chance for clubs with a vast knowledge of the players to walk away with hidden gems while other clubs will trot out the "shallow draft" line and go for Guy Richards types.

So, where did the players you selected go in the draft. For WC I picked the following (the first number is where I picked them and the second is where they actually went) -

3. Morton - 4
13. Henderson - 8
20. Veszpremi - 11
22. Greenwood - 32
30. Simpson - 44
54. Reid - 35
78. Petrenko - Not drafted

I'm pretty happy with the top 3 as it would have given WC 3 first round picks. Is still reckon Pertrenko is a great gamble at 78.

You'd be glad that he's training with us.

Yeah, sort of. I reckon he'll be a handy AFL player but he is not the type that we need. He's a quick, running half back flanker.

Nice picking. Checkers got a few well under the odds too.

Weaver had Gourdis at #5 in his BF phantom draft.

Yeah i thought Gourdis was worth late first rounder myself.Rather bemusing.

Seems the perfect PSD #1 to me.

It should be noted that of the highly rated skinny dud flankers recruited by Geelong in the PRE phantom draft not a single one made the cut in the ND.

That's why we at Geelong rule this league. ;D
