PRE 2017 Phantom Draft

My apologies, GCS Pick Brett Bewley from Williamstown who will slot nicely into Adam Saads role.

Extremely suprising Brisbane going all out talls

Brissie have many holes but I'm adopting the Clarkson approach of filling the spine first. Schache is gone so in comes Dixon. Balta is a wildcard who potentially could play anywhere, but at a minimum he provides the chop out for Stef Martin. Ballenden will play in defence and provide support for Harris Andrews. No doubt the midfield is lacking but with Davies-Uniacke, pick 44 & pick 52 the holes will be plugged.

Good pick, he was my third option at pick 30. (My second option is still out there.)

Thanks. fit in well with us I reckon, but we've got other needs.

This was steaming along yesterday but looks like we're running low on fuel today!!

Saints sitting here with a name they are dying to call out!

Pick 43. Hawthorn

Jordan Houlahan

Has a bit of x-factor in that Jeremy Howe way, Hawks desperately need some pizzaz after the 2017 debacle and are pleased to secure an exciting half forward.

Pick 44. Brisbane

Jake Patmore

Patmore has slipped under the radar a bit, haven't seen him in too many top 40s but he's one of my favourite Sandgropers. One thing I like to see when sizing up the juniors is some meaty stats and Jake has excelled at every level. Having averaged 23 touches at the carnival, he backed that up with some monster numbers at Colts level and produced an impressive display in the WAFL reserves. Being an AIS lad he has had to face some confronting home truths about his conditioning but has responded beautifully with some major inroads with his skinfolds. With Brisbane desperate for some outside run Patmore presents as a perfect pick to compliment their young inside mids.

Pick 45 - St Kilda choose Nathan Kreuger 196cm / 86kg. We are looking for a Riewoldt replacement and we may have found one in Kreuger. Has remarkable agility for his size. Can do some very special things. We just need to get more consistency into his game butt he raw tools are there.

Message for Turk, I've switched you to Essendon to get things moving (I've taken Hawks).

He has edited his choice. I am playing for Melbourne and chose Liam Ryan.

Melb choose Dylan Moore
