Possible Late Picks

The Morrish doesnt seem a great predictor. Only 4 winners in 20 odd years have made a decent impact at AFL (lenny hayes, nathan brown, kreuzer, heppell). I wonder why?

Most Morrish medal winners aren't members of the AIS, that means when the best in the land are touring Europe and playing against the VFL, the second tier performers are racking up the votes in the TAC.

ah thanks, that explains it.

Any of Holman, Robertson, Jansen, Combe I'd be happy with.

There's not been much talk about Hourigan lately, I wonder if he's a candidate to slide Membrey style? I really rate him as a footballer, not so much as an athlete though. Would be stoked to take him at 50

Hourigan types are typically found between 30-50, we might be lucky but then again, this is a draft light on for KP prospects so I have my doubts. Dallas Willsmore is another who could feasibly fill that role but if we grab Lennon, I don't think it will matter anyway. An inside mid and a crumber should be high on agenda at this stage.

Lang at 50 would be very nice.

I like Lang a lot, he was an integral reason behind the Falcon's rise up the ladder. He reminds me of Joel Corey, just a super smart distributor without the bells and whistles.

There is a bit of Corey about him, albeit a few inches shorter. Still, he's the same height as Ellis, so not a midget. Can play, we'll be lucky if he gets through I reckon.

Any chance for Travis Tuck as the inside mid option at out later selections?

3 strikes you're out, with all the commotion Dusty has caused, I doubt we would consider Tuck.

Garlett might still be available at our pick, not that we will take him.

Hawks or GC are my tips, Clarkson has already interviewed Garlett several times.

Banfield delisted by Brisbane but promised a rookie spot.

Wouldnt mind getting in his ear to nominate for the draft and get him with pick 68.

Solidly built half forward flanker and the type we need.

Could go this option depending if we end up with Lennon at 12.

Jimmy Tsitas

Club: Geelong Falcons
D.O.B.: 3.3.1995
Height: 181cm
Weight: 78kg
Position: Medium Defender/Midfielder
Plays Like: Garrick Ibbotson/Paul Duffield

Dubbed “The Ryan Crowley” of the TAC Cup competition, Jimmy Tsitas is as tough and intimidating as they come. Although his namesake does not imply that he is a tagger, he is one big yapper and thrives on attacking and getting into the head of those who are mentally weak. With that aside, Tsitas (Pronounced Chee-tas) is a big time ball accumulator, and offers hardness, courage and physicality at every contest he is involved in. Utilised predominately as a rebounding half back type, Tsitas also has the scope to terrorise through the midfield where he can really impose himself at a contest. Tsitas is type of player who’ll fly the flag for the jumper, and has the clean skill set (ranked no 1 at the combine for the kick test) to be a damaging player who’ll break hearts if given too much space. “Jimmy-the-Greek” as he’s also fondly known as, also has leadership qualitiess – co-captaining the Geelong Falcons in 2013 and really stepped up into a midifeld role throughout the finals series.

Dwayne Wilson

Club: Sturt
D.O.B.: 17.1.1995
Height: 178cm
Weight: 75kg
Position: Small Midfielder
Plays Like: Travis Varcoe

Talk about an injection of speed at West Coast, Dwayne Wilson is a small midfielder who is lightening quick. Wilson is a terrific outside player, and uses his running game and agility to his advantage whenever at all possible. The explosive winger has made the move up the ground this year, after playing predominately as a small forward, it’s in this that his versatility has made him a hot prospect at this year’s draft. Wilson also is a prolific ball accumulator – along with his bag of tricks, he racks up big amounts of the ball, and his distribution by foot is the underpinning reason why he is so highly fancied. An elite kick, brilliant below his knees and clean in the air, Wilson adds serious speed and flexibility to the West Coast midfield if he falls this low. The only whack on Wilson is that he does need to work on his effort over four quarters as he does tend to drift in and out of games quite often.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better kick than this kid.

Low bullets. Jack would be on an eternal hard on at the thought of this bloke spotting up his lead inside 50.
