Hurtful loss however there were positives. Really liked the look of Webberley, was great with his disposal and looked composed. edwards was great the kid can play just make sure in midfield and forward. Martin had few clangers but worked his guts out and amazing thirst for hard ball. nahas was great again if only there was somebody else applying defensive pressure ! As for negatives geez really unhappy with tambling at moment his tackling is pathetic and in slow motion running after opponents would drop for cousins next week. Riewoldt sure he is lone hand up forward but is too lazy when defending jogs when opposition has ball absolutely shocking. Polak is vfl player as is white. Newman is not a captain in any sense must be replaced no presence whatsoever. We will get there its slowly developing into brand new team with more skill and brains. For example WEBBERLEY NASON MARTIN COTCHIN DELIEDO.

Only positives for me was Martin, and Cotchin. Thought they really had a go for most of the game.

Negatives - Our give up attitude in the final quarter. Lack of forwards. Backman always being reactive and not pro active.

positives - Edwards good vision and execution tonight
NAAHAAAS. good first half but dropped off with the rest of the team
First half. Show good fight, good tackling

Negatives - anything after half time. Held on a little during the 3rd 1/4 and ended with an embarrassing last.

Loved our defensive pressure and game plan for three quarters.
Great game for three quarters from Edwards, Martin, Cotchin, Deliedio, Nahas

Room for large improvement, Tambling, Polo, and Collins

Nice first up game from Webberly.

Bring on more experience.

Negatives

McGuane - simply cannot play, finally given up on Tambling he is useless and what purpose does Polak serve he is bloody useless and White is just plain horrid ! Ooops forgot that worthless JACKSON HE CANNOT HIT THE SIDE OF A BARN !!!

Quality captain by the way - will make history that boy

Its taken 7 weeks however there is Light at end of the tunnel.

Its taken 7 weeks but we finally were able to stay in touch for 3qtrs.
By Round 15 we should be a 4 qtr side. ;D

positives...
rather be us than Adelaide moving forward.
inside work/tackling for 2.5 - 3 quarters.
McGuane. better under pressure.
Webberly. natural.
Nahas. kept us in it early. plenty to like. vital cog.
Martin. will overtake Scully in the next few years.
Cotchin. absolute gun. needs a bit more muscle and a good preseason.
Delidio. smart. underrated.
Nason. smart. big future.
Vickery. copped a stinger or arm injury early on - will be great for us in time. great pick up.

not sure...
Jackson. great physical presence. prefer him kicking long to a contest rather than attempted finessing.
Astbury. quiet. plenty of time.
Newman. captaincy not his thing. like to see that early career form again. not dominating.
Thursfield. gone from potentially the next Silvagni (Steven) to an OK defender. perservere.
Edwards. most frustrating player. great gather and evasive skills. that hook stab pass is frightening although he did hit targets today.
Moore. busy. crucial goal miss. Ben Hart wannabe.
Reiwoldt. can't drop marks Jack. that shouldn't :don't know be a problem when he is a second stringer.
Polo. brain fades a worry. shocking turnover. will get game/s for gut punch. was noticable most of the game.
Polak. another great marker that can't kick goals. ruck and defensive sweeper only in my opinion but not part of the long term future.
Tuck. good goal. tryer. stop gap.
Collins. needs more time but not coming on.
Rance. courgage will buy him some time but not much.

negatives.
Tambling. needs another club. Port the best option.
White. take up sprinting, long jump or similar. no idea about footy.
Set shots for goal.
Dropped marks.

Re: Its taken 7 weeks however there is Light at end of the tunnel.

TOOT TOOT !!!

They should merge with the storm there the other team rolling up each week knowing they wont get any points.

Great first half.

And I like the way they attacked in that time.

Further, McGuane looks much improved this season.

Finally, that Vickery snr has taught Polo how to give out a few jabs.

Keep improving.

Re: Its taken 7 weeks however there is Light at end of the tunnel.

adelaide were crap and we couldn't put them away or at least be there late in the last quarter. a long way to go.

Re: Its taken 7 weeks however there is Light at end of the tunnel.

Mate, trains have lights forward and rear, that light is the tail light................ getting smaller and smaller

Indeed your right Skipper

Re: Its taken 7 weeks however there is Light at end of the tunnel.

*smile*, no problem watching kids making mistakes,
but watching moore getting out marked constantly, how the hell could you miss that goal?
Rances kick across goal that didnt hit the target,
Tampling trying to take 1 handed marks and chasing like his wearing lead boots,
Jackson, the biggest waste of the space, does he think his Judd? His a DUD!!
polo, Lack of pace
and you think there is light at the end of the tunnel, we need so many players in so many positions, its beyond a joke.
where screwed, this shouldve happened 10 years ago, not now.
